A jewel of the Detroit entertainment scene.Any given night you'll see top notch bands from all over and many different genres as well.Fantastic beer selections from local, regional and national producers. I haven't ate here yet but the food coming out of the kitchen looks and smells great. The front yard is taking shape nicely as it's a recent addition and given a nice view of bustling Corktown. Lots of parking, resonable drink prices, and super music. What more could you ask for?

So... I never knew about this place for brunch. Wow, one of the better brunches I've had period. We had the shrimp and grits and the vegan biscuits and gravy. To sum our meal up...as the kids would say...it slapped!! It was so damn good. The shrimp and grits came with two polenta cakes. Then smother in a creamy sauce, and topped with a pile of shrimp and bacon. You can't go wrong! The shrimp had a Cajun seasoning on them that tasted great with the cream sauce. The grilled toast points were a perfect addition to soak up some of the sauce. I only sampled some of the vegan biscuits and gravy. From what I tasted the gravy was rich and flavorful. The tofu scramble was seasoned well and it had a nice mix of peppers and onions it tasted pretty good. Overall I highly recommend this place for bunch.

I first visited pj's Lager House 15 years ago. It seems like it's aged quite nicely. The staff was all very friendly. The food was really good, i especially liked the fried avocado app. The show was fun. The patio is nice. I would gladly return.

Decided to have brunch...we ordered shrimp and grits, korean BBQ corned beef hash, french toast and the vegan biscuits and gravy. The grit cake was really delicious and the shrimp were perfectly cooked. The korean bbq was very tasty...the meat was tender and flavorful. French Toast was good but nothing special. Ask for the Whiskey Maple wing sauce to rat with em instead of the plain maple syrup The vegan biscuits and gravy were so sage-y and savory. We had 2 orders of grits and 3 alcoholic drinks and 3 sides of bacon for $108 without the tip. Lotsa food and great atmosphere.... Oh and if you are a hotsauce person...they serve 2 dogs hot sauce....loved em all..didnt try the super hot one though.

A great spot to check out local bands in the historic cork town area of Detroit. The new outdoor at the front of the building on Michigan Ave is open and spacious.

Quaint place and the food was absolutely delicious. Located at the beginning of Corktown, it was the perfect spot to stop by before we had to get to our show for the evening! I had the Vietnamese Salad and mini Jambalaya. Ask for the black garlic habanero sauce to try on your tofu! My husband had the Catfish Po Boy and that was delicious as well. Definitely a good place for a delicious bite.

Great place to see live bands. Nice beer selection with very reasonable prices and fast, friendly service. Tight room with a great close up feel for music. Small patio out back if you want to step away from the music or sit with a few friends.

I ordered the salmon sandwich but no bread. As u can see it's overcooked and this is a kid's portion. This is horrible!
