The Black Salt

This is an awesome, unique spot making quality drinks with impeccable service. The whole vibe is very cool. A touch of class, a touch of mystery, but very approachable and welcoming.

When I say there is magic to this place, it is not an understatement. The Black Salt is everything I would ever want from a bar and I wish I lived closer so I could just pop over daily after work. The atmosphere is perfect, everything about it feels like you are transported into another world. The menu is amazing with a mix of the classic and wonderfully crafted originals. The touch of the rituals are something that’s another level that’s truly special and something you can’t find anywhere else. The best part about their menu? Almost every drink has a non-alcohol version. It creates an environment of inclusivity where I can bring people who drink and or drink. It’s truly a special place that you have to visit multiple times because you’ll always miss a special detail, making each visit unique. I can’t wait to see what they do next, as it has grown into such a wonderful little spot. The owner is truly one of the nicest people I have met and deserves everyone’s patronage. Best part, there’s a parking lot across the street so you don’t have to worry about parking in the street. And don’t forget quarters to check out their little spell gum-ball machine! EDIT: Wanted to do a follow up because I still LOVE this place so much and they just keep on hitting it out of the park every time we go. I wish I could review this place more than once, but I just encourage others to go and experience the magic. Some highlights Black Cat Party - They have parties on Friday the 13th that have special drinks, music, and just great vibes! October festivities - We went to their Wednesday night movie night and it was SO much fun. Being able to watch a movie with strangers made me finally see the appeal people have of watching sports at bars, that shared joy and experience of watching something you all love together. I’m looking forward to future movie nights and hope they do it outside of October as well! Thank you Black Salt for being such a perfect place to escape to!

I have been following the Black Salt Bar on social media for a bit now. I finally got the opportunity for a night out away from kids and my husband and I seized the chance! I don’t drink alcohol anymore due to some recent health issues. This place had the MOST delicious NA drinks. My husband got the Knot so Tight and I got an Abundance (NA). The drinks were seriously a work of art thanks to our bartender, Josh! He was absolutely WONDERFUL!! So kind, attentive and knowledgeable! We had the BEST coffee there I have ever had in my life. My husband agreed! It was the ice cold brew latte and I have to say WE ARE HOOKED! The Black Salt Bar has two customers for life. The Spell Kits are so thoughtful and enchanting ✨ We took ours home to practice alone together. We also got two tarots from the coin machine and they were very fitting to each of us. It was a very magical and memorable evening and I truly can’t wait to come back and bring our friends. The Black Salt was everything I hoped for and MORE!! I was loving the place from afar and they MORE than met my expectations! Keep doing what you do and don’t let any bad apples change your course!! ✨

My first experience at Black Salt was tonight where you were honoring Hekate. It was such a beautiful and meaningful evening, and the drinks were beyond superb. The vibe was beautiful, the people I met were incredible, and I can’t wait to come back. I am definitely naming The Black Salt my new joint. Fun place to visit. Make sure you make reservations very limited seating. Non spell drinks are more reasonable. Drinks w spells a tad higher but very unique. It was fun to visit. Great idea! Very limited food selection, so eat before you come. Mainly for cocktails.

Went down state for a girls trip with my best friend this weekend. Making it a point to stop at The black salt for the 1st time, and we are so glad that we did! This place was a whole vibe. Drinks were artful and well thought out. Our bartender was kinda and exceptional at his craft. Tried a few of the BonBons and absolute must try. Such a welcoming environment, this place will stay on our list of downstate gems.

I went with a group of friends and we all loved the experience. Sarah was our bartender and was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the drinks, made really great suggestions and happily answered all of our questions. The drinks she made were very, VERY good. Went for one and ended up having two! I love the atmosphere as well. I’m the type of person who doesn’t want a loud atmosphere often, but I still like to go out and relax with a very well made drink and the Black Salt is the perfect place to do so.

Drinks were excellent/delicious with names appropriate to bar’s theme (and also with Halloween). Needs more non-sweet small food selections. The spinach pie is good but would be better if heated for 20 secs. Cannoli is good but doesn’t go with some alcoholic drinks. Overall — bravo on creating a good place to go for drinks!
