Bumbo's

I don’t know if I get the hype for this place at all. Of the handful of times I’ve been here, someone threw trash at our table (some gross patrons) of me and a few other girls. I’m assuming this was bigoted in nature as one of my friends at the table is trans… don’t know why anyone else would do that. Another experience at Hamtramck blow out and the girl running the door was being pretty flippant and rude regarding my friend who was very visibly ill in the restroom. I get it, it was a busy night but the whole thing was handled extremely unprofessionally especially considering we were worried my friend had maybe been drugged… of which again the staff didn’t really seem to care at all. I guess I’ll give the bar a few more shots because all my friends love it but yeah… have yet to be impressed.

I kinda liked bumbos, the outdoor space was the real winner, it was really nice that they had the pool table as well. We came here after a wine tasting and stayed until close, I’d say it’s a great spot to go to end your night, grab a little drink, meet up with some friends, play pool and chat on their well lit patio.

If you’re black and alone… don’t go! the patrons and staff are racist I don’t even feel comfortable in hamtramck anymore Edit* I’ve always payed my tabs as I go and have never paid the next day on a tab.. so we’re lying here???? When a guy approaches me with violence and I defend myself this is how you respond… with lies wow lol never threatened the staff.. the guy that approached me yes very so I literally had only a beer and a shot and was coherent And if you guys know me like your acting like you do then you should know I’m never there long and I’m a fly on the wall maybe you should look into the cause of my reaction and not just my reaction AND YOU WONT CAUSE WE KNOW WHY LOL

Went with our son who lives in area , friendly staff, good drinks and nice atmosphere. Outdoor patio was a plus.

Great laid back but classy spot in Hamtramck! A different vibe and feel than most Hamtown bars but it still fits in! They also make really great specialty cocktails and do a pop-up on Wednesday. And Brian and Tia are great!

Can’t even tell you how special this place is but I’ll try. It’s owned and operated by the sweetest woman Tia, who is the most hospitable host. Drinks are always delicious but my fav is the frenchie. Bumbos is the kind of bar that you can spend with strangers on Christmas day away from those family members that drive you crazy or a late night by yourself and get that night cap you wanted. They offer pool and and pleasant patio on as well. 10/10 would recommend. Come as you are and you will be happy you stopped by.

Bartender was sooo kind and helpful when selecting drinks. Love the drink menu, everything is good and reasonably priced. Nice busy spot for a drink and chill.

Great place to grab drinks and shoot some pool! Friendly staff and great out door area!
