The Public House

The Public House offered a wonderfully-unique menu of cocktails and appetizers. I ordered a drink called "Burning Embers", it came to the table with a burning cinnamon stick! We had the Fries and Feta Cheese apps, both were amazing. Highly recommend you stop in for a drink + bite.

Cute place. Great cocktails. Nice service. Presentation is perfect. We ordered the Mediterranean olives and they served us a plenty of them in a glass, it was very good. My husband has a bartending business out of state and the choice of ice and craft for the cocktails really show a real mixologist is behind the bar making these. 10/10!

The best place to throw a party in Mid-Michigan! Hosted a graduation party from Chicago and I can’t speak highly enough of the whole atmosphere! The space was gorgeous, the food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were delightful! The owner and staff were responsive and friendly, even the music was perfect! We utilized both the indoor and outdoor space and it was perfect size for 50 guests. We will definitely return and highly recommend The Public House!

We stopped in for their Sunday brunch. It was absolutely FANTASTIC! The place itself is so cozy and inviting..even had a fireplace with some seats nearby. The coffee and food was to die for!!! We ate every single bite! Highly recommend you check this place out if you’re in the area!

This is hilarious. Never in my 20 years bartending have I ever been this much of an ass . To be excited to find a craft bar that makes fresh cocktails, I simply asked for a standard craft cocktail - Whiskey, Lemon, Simple. Add orange and basil (since they had fresh basil). Saw they used maple syrup so asked for that instead of simple…Okay so a upcharge for the maple. I get it I’m being extra but not really.. it wasn’t difficult compared to the drinks on the menu and all the prepping that comes along with being behind that bar. I just wanted my simple Whiskey Mojito… Also I’d understand if he’d charge for rocks for a rocks pour but he literally asked if I wanted it strained or over rocks. I said over rocks. Never in my life charged for ice to charge for the actual ICE… And this is my receipt. From bartender to bartender,

Not local, but whenever I come to Bay city to visit family I come to the Public House. This place has the most delicious, well balanced cocktails that are hard to find in a much larger city. The service is always top notch. Today, Lyndsay was our bartender and gave us exceptional service. Between our group, we tried each of the house cocktails and every one was incredible. Their espresso martini recipe is also top notch. I’ve had cocktails at death & co in NY and Denver and these cocktails are as well thought out and made with as much knowledge and care. We are waiting for the day you decide to come to Colorado Springs, Co and open a bar there. Thank you for being so amazing.

Great place to kick off date night with a cocktail and some appetizers! Dion is a craftsman at crafting craft drinks. Have one or two. This is not your typical bar. It’s for those who enjoy a quality cocktail! The food and service is top notch and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are on vacation!

Stopping by for the first time to try a variety of drinks and grab a slice of pie for desert was the right choice. The atmosphere is filled with fantastic, live plants and seasonal decor. It’s a nice space for a date or a gathering that offers carefully made hand-crafted cocktails and pairings of delicious food. The staff were all so friendly, respectful, and skilled at their jobs. I can’t wait to come visit again.
