River Street Tavern

1st time there, will definitely go back. The food smelled really good when we walked in. We were seated by the window which was nice. Lots of TVs everywhere, which are high up, (you can still have a conversation with people). We had the crab cake sliders which were different & good. I had the maple pulled pork bowl which had cheese, onion strings on top & seasoned potatoes. Nice menu to choose from. Can't wait to go back & try something else off the menu!

Open, tons of character, great use of wood/metal/brick. Clean floors, tables, and menus. Seated quickly, our server was polite, kind, and knowledgeable about the menu and planning special events upstairs. The food was served promptly, the proper temperature, and full of flavor!! We will be back soon to continue our tour of the menu!

A local pub located in the busy entertainment district of East Dundee serving traditional pub food and craft beers. They offer a nice beer and cocktail list,huge menu and daily specials. We went midweek and we were seated immediately. The staff is super friendly (Josie J) My wife had the Tequila Lime Chicken bowl(GF) with roasted seasoned potatoes (which were more like French fries) ,and steamed broccoli. Nice portion,good in flavor. I had the Chili Shrimp Tacos(4) with chili rubbed shrimp, chipotle aioli,cilantro,pico and cotija cheese.very flavorful but a small portion in my opinion.. Comes with a side of chips and salsa. When I checked in with Yelp, I got a 15% off coupon which was a nice surprise. For a casual laid-back friendly atmosphere to either have a few drinks or upgraded pub eats,give River Street Tavern a try!

Service was great but the food was even better! I tried the American donkey and Curd Cobain burger. Highly recommend!

Delicious, all 4 dishes were great. I had pot roast sandwich. My husband couldn't stop commenting about how great the french fries were. Service excellent. I'm attending a party in their upstairs space & server arrange for us to go up and see it. Gave atmosphere only four stars only bc large Spanish group next to us being really noisy it was hard to talk, not the owner's fault.

Nice, friendly pub built about 100 years ago. Friendly service and reasonable prices. They have a meeting loft that can accommodate about 50 people. We only had steak nachos, which were quite good. A great place for an adult birthday party!

Dropped in unannounced. Server showed up with water almost as soon as we sat, but told us not to get attached as she wasn't our real server. We sighed sadly, and she went and asked our server if she could take care of us, and she did. Quick witted Valentina helped us decide between a few dishes and brought drinks and humor to our table. We had a delicious meal and enjoyed our time here. Next time we're in Dundee, we will definitely return.

Just had a delicious steak sandwich, no bread or ipa onions with really good broccoli. I have a gluten allergy, and our sweet waitress, Natalia, was super helpful with the choices. The whole table enjoyed their food and said it was really good. Highly recommend.
