Bailey’s Place

The staff here were so cool. We brought a couple bottles the other night to trade with friends and we ended up opening a few. The staff gave us extra glasses for pours and had no problems with us taking up some extra space. We had the spicy pizza, very tasty. Overall great experience, would highly recommend.

Kind of a small bar with food. I brought my family but the kids were kind of out of place. They did have some board games for the kids. They had a decent selection but it would've been better if they had more on tap. The food was decent. We had a pretzel and a couple of pizzas.

Love love love this place. Great selection. Owner-operated. Great service. Simply awesome. All beer is reasonably priced, except the Miller Lite: that costs $1,000. I don't think they're going for the macro brew crowd!

Really great constantly rotating selection of beer. Staff is friendly and accommodating, great selection of board games to play, and a respectable food menu to nibble off of. One thing I don't really care for is the addition of the Golden tee game... Bright screen is irritating and it takes away from the atmosphere. Say hi to the fishies! They like company.

Great beer, great wine, great staff, great vibe. When the chef is in, theres some very good, unique pub food, flatbread pizza in particular. Go earlier in the evening and chat it up with the bartenders. They really know their beer.

Bigbys was my favorite bar in the Chicago suburbs until it was turned into yet another gambling nightmare. Now they changed the name on the listing but kept all the old reviews.

Love this place! I always have a great time hanging out here with my friends. Bigby's has nice ambiance and comfortable seating. Great staff working here. Tons of beer options and the food is pretty good, too. They even had a jalapeno beer that was pretty awesome. They don't have a big food menu, but I enjoy the flat breads ($9) and pizzas (about $12). The 2 soft pretzels ($7) with 2 dipping sauces is a solid choice, too. Good drinking food.

Decided to try Bigby’s because after 3 visits my friend and I weren’t happy with shoeless joe’s. I’m glad we did. The bartender was awesome. Friendly, engaging, good conversations. They don’t have food there but they are connected to Mario’s deli and so you’re allowed to bring in food from there. My friend and I split a prosciutto and provolone sub which was delicious. The beer was at the proper temperature and they had a decent selection of specialty beers. The place was small, but quit and charming. My friend and I will be coming back.
