When you go into PK's, you notice the Pizza King signage prompted us to ask if that's what PK stood for and it does. Funny thing is they don't serve pizza. But they do serve an amazing smashburger for a great price. Love the 16 oz cans for cold beers. Sat at the bar near the pool table pool seems popular here.

It's the best 'dive bar' I've ever met. I am mostly an introvert, so I don't get out to bars much in general, but PKs is my favorite bar in town. I tend to go for the food and for live music. People don't expect this from a 'dive bar', so I meet a lot of people who don't realize that they have the best burgers in town (by far). The 'burger of the week's range from quirky flavor combos to straight-up gourmet, but they remain affordable. They also always have a variety of cheeses, so if you're like me and despise the standard American cheese on a cheeseburger, you'll be happy (for the record, they may also have American cheese, idk cause I don't order it...I prefer to ignore its existence). And! I am not a vegan, but I do order the beyond burger from time to time, and it is fabulous. They also always have vegan cheese. I say this, because I don't think it's widely known that PK's caters to vegans.

Had their all star burger and chili! Great place for lunch and an afternoon drink!

Lovely historic dive bar. You can just tell this place has some character. Oh, and probably some of the best burgers in town during the day.

One of the best places in Southern Illinois to gather. I have a deep appreciation for the NA beer choices. Food is excellent, all service providers wonderful.

Surprisingly good food for a dive bar. Crown Royal was only $5. Dedicated stage and sound system. I’m not really impressed with the sound, but that’s ok. One pool table, lots of video poker, and foosball. Doesn’t smell of stale beer. Big thumbs up

It's PKs, I only went for the music. Didn't get served and I didn't eat. I used to drink there a lot, but now I don't drink or go out much. It's more student friendly now. Just another Carbondale dive.

This place can go under for all I care they won't even explain to me what the bad air is that i have and why they kicked me out for it just that im not allowed there even if my main purchase was the food which is amazing and quite possibly why I don't care about them anymore is the denial of food overall as well because I was told they don't want "my money" said by the owner of the place
