There was a UNCW pop up art show next door. Thought I’d go to that and try their tacos and a beer. Never been there before. When I parked, someone pulled up yelling at me that I can’t park there. I guess he was the owners brother and thought we were parking illegally? Anyway, tacos were mid and beer same stuff you get anywhere and overall atmosphere not impressive at all. Bartender/waitress was nice. Way better places to go so don’t waste your time. I hope I don’t get sick from the tacos.

First time visit, definitely going back! The tacos are amazing!!! We went to see a show, and it was well worth it! We had such a great time! Thank you Barzarre!!

Fun, relaxed atmosphere, lots of drink choices, good hookah, kind people. Can't comment on the food as we didn't order any. We'll be back the next time we're in Wilmington!

So surprised I've never left a review because I've been going here for years, it was literally my mom's spot back when they were the juggling gypsy. Can't think of a better place to have either a chill night out, or a rager of a rave/show. The staff is always super tight and friendly, the outdoors is always set up to accommodate weather needs. Their parking lot is bigger than it looks I swear. The rotating artwork is always local and atmospheric. Even the patrons here are always friendly and inviting. The barzzare can't be beat when it comes to cozy and comfortable, not to mention their drink service and variety holds up to anyone else near downtown. I love this place so much, P.S. REST IN PIECES WEATHER CHAIR, I AWAIT YOUR SECESSION!!!

This is a cool little classic neighborhood dive bar. If you’re expecting or wanting fancy, then it’s not the vibe. Total lack of pretension gives way to a relaxing atmosphere, easy going staff and clientele and plenty of room for human error- which, in this case, is a meant as a compliment. One gets a sense that it’s not big deal here, whatever the deal is. Drew the bartender was kind and personable, gave me recommendations, and it was clear he cares about his bar and his customers. I haven’t experienced it on a busy or wild night but this is a perfect place to stop in, for some day drinking, have some nachos and any of their 150 beers they have available. Outdoor seating is extremely laid back, and the interior seems perfect for stopping by to listen to a live band, who may show up impromptu, and last minute, after a phone call in asking if they can just stop by to jam tomorrow. That’s the vibe. Recommended

For me it was not a great experience. There was music that was so loud you couldn’t hear yourself think but those who were there for it loved it. The bartender didn’t know much about the beers I was asking about. Not a lot of food options and in all fairness it was 10:00pm. The staff didn’t seem interested in being open to offering more beverage options even tho open until later.

I came an hour away for hookah and I was told by bartender they “are not doing hookah” on a Friday night at “a hookah bar.” Very disappointed ☹️ Update: hello Manager, I have no idea of the customer who reached across the bar. I was there with my boyfriend, Neither one of us were disrespectful. I remember politely asking the bartender for hookah and she replied that it was someone’s birthday party and they were not selling hookah that tonight. Do you have video evidence that supports your claim of me or my bf accosting your employer? If so, I would like to see proof because I can assure you neither one of us harassed the bartender that we spoke with. I apologize if she had an earlier incident that wasn’t in her favor. However, that situation does not pertain to us. I am highly disappointed that we came an hour away and were declined service.

Last Sunday morning I had the opportunity to go here a visiting quartet at the Juggling Gypsy. The quartet was excellent. Apparently this is their second time coming to town and they played Jewish jazz, Benny Goodman, and more (I will try to post their business card in case that interests you). I have dropped people off at the Juggling Gypsy for a number of years when I drive Uber, but I've never had the chance to go in. When I arrived, at what I thought was the beginning of the concert, it was already packed. There was one seat at the bar left and I took that. All the people who had arrived before me had obviously ordered food for brunch, which apparently is an unusual event at the Juggling Gypsy. It was an eclectic atmosphere that was great for this event. however I was never asked if I'd like something to drink, or given a menu of what was offered for brunch. There were quite a few places to sit, but they were awful. I'm not great at sitting on a stool. so after a while of waiting for someone to come and ask me if I'd like a drink I decided to go sit outside. They have a lot of seating outside and they have speakers out there as well, so you can hear the concert just as well as inside and be comfortable sitting in many different types of a seating. There's outdoor seating for all seasons, there are fire pits, there's cover for when it rains, and obviously sun would be just fine. I think I'd like to go back again and get there earlier so maybe I could get a great seat. I like that they brought in different kinds of acts, not just the same thing they might always have, which I really don't know what that is, but I would check it out. It's not posh, it's very haphazardly eclectic. But you can find a good place to enjoy the music. I'd bring a group of friends, it'll make it more fun, especially if you're not great at talking to strangers. I'd also be assertive at getting to the bar and ordering your drink. On a Sunday morning I just wasn't assertive enough to do that. I believe they're in the process of changing their name for some reason, but for now I'm going to call it the Juggling Gypsy until I see the new name take root. So give it a try. I would not put this down as a place for eating, I think it's more of a place of experiencing. Go see for yourself.
