I LOVE THIS BAR!!! My husband and I are travelling and dropped in for a few bevvies. The owner and all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the drinks were amazing, especially the cocktails. If you are in the area and don’t come here you are missing out on a great time!! We had the best night that goes on our list of ‘most enjoyable experiences’. Thanks guys

Popped in here my first time during Bluegrass Fest to get a Sip and Stroll roadie. Cute bar. Several regulars hanging out in the afternoon with a couple dogs in attendance. Everyone very friendly. Bartender was nice. Pours were good. I’m going to give this place several more tries as I figure out what bar is going to be my sip and stroll regular bar for bourbon soda and vodka soda. Also the upstairs has a cute view just be careful heading back down those stairs if you’ve had a few.

The Davie is the kind of bar downtown Raleigh has been needing for years! Each time I have been there the staff have been friendly, proffessional, accommodating, and make you feel like you belong there. If you want to beat the madness of the club scene and have a guaranteed fantastic experience The Davie is the place to go. The location is convenient walking distance to local eateries and parking has never been an issue for me. There are two floors that each offer a different, but unique experience. Whether you are catching up with friends for drinks, to watch a sporting event, or seeking somewhere to celebrate a special event, The Davie can accommodate. I cannot say enough good things about this place!

This bar was great!! We came in last night after a wedding, and after trying another bar in the area that wasn’t as accommodating to the group. The owner of The Davie and bartenders were awesome and we are so happy we decided to go there- it’s no wonder they have such good reviews! Highly recommend.

This place felt funny, people were not friendly, I was at the bar talking and they were looking at me like I was crazy. People came in with their dog and they were treated better. Definitely won't return. It did not feel like a neighborhood place where you want to go and have a few drinks and let loose. It felt like if you didn't know them then they wouldn't serve you

The Davie hosted a baby shower for us in June 2024. It was a perfect Sunday with the right ambiance and feel for our special day with family and friends. The staff members were amazing and treated us well and everyone complimented the venue and it's great location in downtown Raleigh. We would recommend the Davie to host for any special occasion. Thanks to the Davie for making our shower unforgettable!
