Uptown Tavern

Grilled chicken breast was a little overcooked but mashed potatoes and salad were delicious. Daughter got the Alfredo pasta and said it was the BEST pasta she has ever had in her life. She gave it it 5/5 stars and said she definitely wanted to come back! Service was absolutely wonderful, got our food to-go.

I give this place five stars. I’ve been to multiple places in Eden, North Carolina, but I’ve came back to this place multiple times they have great food. Good drinks and I would say we’re gonna go there Tyler coconut shrimp, and their burgers they’re awesome.

Wonderful experience! The food came out hot. The pasta dish with chicken and broccoli and the Philly cheese steak looked appetizing. The beer was cold. The atmosphere is sports bar with hip music in the back ground. Great service from Dakota. Great job overall. Highly recommend!

1st time there, and the saying only get one chance to make a 1st impression still stands true. This place didn’t drop the ball, and actually made one hell of a genuine impression. Food was outstanding and nice selection of brew and spirits.cozy atmosphere and if you’re a sports fan it won’t disappoint as there’s virtually a screen everywhere with whatever you’re likings are.. definitely worth the stop and will be back when in town.

I first discovered the tavern while visiting a friend that lives close by. The smell of the food outside was amazing. After being tempted by the steaks on the grille cooking, I gave it a try the following week. I’ve been a number of times now and each time has been at various times of the afternoon or night. I’ve never had any wait getting seated, even at the times where I expected the staff to be overwhelmed with local events taking place close by. The staff has always been welcoming and fast to make sure you’re taken care of. The wait time for food was less than expected each time. Recently, I overlooked a detail on a food item and even then, the management easily corrected my mistake and then they insisted on taking care of it due to my wait for the food. I told them it was my mistake, not the staff, and I didn’t expect them to do anything and I wasn’t upset about any part of the visit there. They still wanted to take care of me. I’ll visit as often as I can. The service each time has been above and beyond the majority of experiences I have ever had, and I travel nationwide weekly for work. There is street parking and a city parking area directly across the street and even on the very busiest days, I’ve never had any issues parking close by. I’m glad I found this gem minutes from me when I first moved to the area.

The burger with onion rings are absolutely a must-try. Nightly drink specials are a great deal. On a separate occasion, I had a buffalo chicken wrap that was quite yummy. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting twice while in town recently and enjoyed my meal both times! Thank you for your hospitality and delicious food and cold drinks!

After searching for something good for lunch I came across Uptown... My, am I Happy I did!!! Awesome food, I got a burger and onion rings, my son got sliders and fries, we also shared some wing... So much food we got lunch and dinner. Delicious I will be back!!
