We had such a great time here. We ended up talking with the bar tender who used to be the mayor of Beacon. It was so nice to chat and have great drinks with him. Thursday “Oysters with Dad” was fantastic. Highly recommend this place!

The Roosevelt is a very cosmopolitan watering spot that welcomes all for a drink! This bar is very LGBT friendly, as the LGBT crowd comes in for a drink on Tuesdays, and on Friday night the Drag Queens come to put on a performance. The first Tuesday of the month is Maria Keroke night, so you best bring your best voice, and belt out a song! The Roosevelt is located at the back of Hudson Food Hall which is at 228 Main Street Beacon, NY. The entrance on Main Street is Handicapped Accessible, as are the two bathrooms.

Came here to unwind. Unfortunately found it more inclusive and friendly to straight women and their boyfriends than the LGBTQ. Expect NYC exclusive attitudes from the bartenders. Owner responded to this review and said I was a terrible homophobic person deserving of the poor service I received. I’m gay.

Great drinks with friendly bartenders. Very queer friendly with dance paries regularly scheduled and very good drag shows on Fridays. Being in the Hudson Vally Food Hall means there is lots of great food to have while you drink!
