Sandy Jack’s is the best! My first experience with the bar was asking them to put on the WNBA all-star game because I couldn’t find any other bar that had it on and Mike was sure to have it turned on for me and my friends. Now I love swinging by for a drink, a wnba game, trivia, etc! Mike was kind enough to let my friends and I host our Halloween party there this year and it was perfect! We had such a blast, Natalia (the bartender) is amazing and so kind. So grateful for this establishment and will always be coming back! Plus, the regulars are all super friendly. Def give it a try! Cozy bar to grab a few drinks with a really nice outdoor space. Rated food 5/5 but they do not serve food, instead you can bring food in from anywhere which is a great compromise. The bar has a lot of events including Billiard tournaments if you’re into that. Very LGBTQ+ friendly!!!

This is the party spot! My friends needed a spacious backyard to host an aggressive binge-drinking competition over the weekend, and the folks at Sandy Jack's welcomed the party with open arms! I've been drinking in Brooklyn for 25 years and this is my favorite place to do it. Always a friendly spot, and a pretty good place to watch folks shoot pool. 2 for 1 happy hour is a steal any time, but the fact that it's also on weekends makes you think maybe you're in Narnia. And should an odd number of drinks fill you up on a particular day, they'll let you keep your chip, and get a free drink next time. I mean, come on. SJ's 4eva.

BEST DRAG RACE WATCH PARTY! Favorite gay bar in Brooklyn! Friendly servers, amazing drag queens, good & decently priced drinks. We love the chill atmosphere. Totally unpretentious. Bartenders Josh & Natalia make you feel like a regular even on your first visit. Bertha Vanayshun is the best drag race host I’ve seen in the city. Will always be my go-to spot!

Very nice bartender with clean atmosphere. My big problem was the beer tap was needing some TLC and you could taste the stale beer that was setting in the lines. I hope the owners address the situation soon!

I had the BEST experience at Sandy Jack's! They literally have the cheapest drinks and best happy hour deal I've been to. I really don't think there's a cheaper option in all of NYC! On top of that, the bartenders were super sweet and the regulars at the bar taught me how to play pool 🙂 plus it's dog-friendly! Such a fun and welcoming environment overall. Everything you could want in a bar, I can't wait to make this my regular spot!

I've never has a bad experience here and always leave with smile. The bartenders provide excellent service and the people that come are friendly. It's a great place to find community and see beautiful queens perform.
