We decided to go on Monday for the $5 burgers. One of the best burgers we’ve had! Cooked to perfection, full of flavor, bacon crispy, not sure the type of bun they use, but it complimented the burger nicely. Fries were also excellent. Our server was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely be back.

Over from the UK and been to several expensive restaurants. Decided to walk away from the usual tourist places and found this gem of a place. Absolutely fantastic service. Amazing staff and food was to die for, even managed to satisfy my 14 year old son and that is a job in itself! Made to feel so welcome and it definitely has to be on every tourists place to visit.

I love this little sports bar. I go more than I should. It’s not big, they have some of the best prices in Navy Yard, the bartenders are friendly, and I have enjoyed the food every time I’ve gone. This is a photo of the meat lovers skillet and the mimosa I got at brunch recently, and it’s a nice amount for what I paid. It was a good choice. I also like the philly cheesesteak eggrolls. those are typically my go to when i’m not super hungry. And the salads are nice too. Admittedly, I haven’t been on a Nats game day yet but goodness help me for when I do. lol.

The food was very good. The buns were somewhat flaky (in a good way) and the dogs were served in a cute metal "holder". We opted for the chips (rather than fries) as our side order. I wish there were more if the chips but what we had was good. Service was a tad slow but it was just before a Nationals game and the place was hopping. We were glad we stopped by and will try but again.

Review for The Big Stick Monday, October 14th @ 11:33 PM When we walked in, an employee was busy putting trash bags into the trash cans. We asked if the place was still open, and he shrugged us off, saying, “It’s open until the last game.” Seeing people seated inside, we decided to sit at the bar and look over the menu. Once we were ready to order, we politely called out to the employee with a “Excuse me,” but he ignored us, giving a confused look. This kind of dismissive behavior is unacceptable and not how customers should be treated. I would appreciate the opportunity to speak with the manager regarding the poor service we experienced.

Good sports bar on the main drag of Navy Yard. Ample seating outside or inside; and must try their wings. The ribs were okay at best and the fries were. A bit soggy.

Service was good. The food was just OK. We had some issues with the cook on the steak that my wife ordered. And also the toast was burnt.

Very nice bar for brunch. It’s good bar food with large portions, strong mimosas, and the prices are very low for the area. Burger and fries was solid. The chicken and waffles was good but I’d probably try something else next time. The staff is extremely nice and friendly and turned on a soccer game at our request. Not crowded on a non baseball day. Will definitely return.
