The Tipsy Jellyfish

The Tipsy Jellyfish welcomed us in immediately when we first moved here not long ago. We love their beer selection, as well as the variety of other beverages they have to share! Jim and Kathryn are wonderful hosts, friendly and always willing to visit and recommend something new we should try! They are very involved in the community, plan fun events and make us feel like we are right at home! When we want to hang out with our pals, the Tipsy is ALWAYS our first choice!

Where to begin, the atmosphere is always fun and hip. We are treated very well like family. I really enjoy the time the wife and i get to hangout with friends, Jim, and Kathryn there. Not only do they have great beers, wines, but great finger foods. Another cool thing they do that rarely would ever happen anywhere is that they stay open after their closing time to give people more time to enjoy the coziness.

I used to love this place. But if you’re a pretty girl, don’t you dare talk to the owners husband, who serves drinks at the bar. she will think you’re trying to steal her husband. ( i was not I don’t go for peoples husbands or old men) All I was trying to do was have a fun Valentine’s Day play some trivia. that I didn’t even know it was happening that night. She was very rude to me. Ask everyone else what they needed at the table but me to make it obvious she did not like me. I complimented her she was rude right back don’t get too chummy or close with the owners. Either just go there for the drinks or don’t go there at all. I won’t ever be going back.

Great selection and variety of Wine and Beer! The owners were super friendly, there are games to play and comfy couches to sit and sip in.

Tipsy Jellyfish is such a wonderful wine bar! There are so many details that I appreciated about it. It is nestled in such a cute block of shops in downtown Oak Harbor. The esthetic is perfect for whatever wine mood that you’re in - rhere is a counter and tables by the counter, a cozy room with a couch and leather chairs, and a side room that accommodate a slightly larger group. This wine bar celebrates just how much wonderful wine comes out of the PNW. I had a wonder Washington Merlot, but whether you want red or white - there will be something from Oregon or Washington that delights. There are options outside of the PNW and wine as well (a great cider list). We were excited to see that they do events too! We have tickets to the thanksgiving event, and we’re very excited. The owner is extremely friendly and talked to us throughout our time at the bar. Congrats on winning best of Whidbey 2022!!

We love stopping in and seeing Kathryn, Jim, and our Tipsy Jellyfish friends! The wine and beer are delicious, but it’s more the atmosphere that brings us back. Cozy, relaxing, chill atmosphere! Best wine bar on Whidbey Island!!
