Blackbird Wine Bar and Charcuterie

I was surprised and delighted to find a place like Blackbird Wine Bar and Charcuterie and it's my favorite happy hour in Anacortes. The first thing you'll notice walking in is the design. It's classy, edgy, and hip, but still comfortable, and quiet enough to meet friends and have a conversation (that you can actually hear). The second thing you'll notice is the warm and friendly customer service. Brian is a gem! And he knows his cheese, which brings me to the third thing you'll notice, delicious charcuterie with various meats, cheeses, and accoutrements, which I leave off the tray because I'm weird and don't like my food to touch each other 🙂

Brian, the owner is absolutely delightful. He is so knowledgeable about wine and lovingly creates the delicious charcuterie boards. We live on the island and absolutely love going here and we highly recommend it. All are welcome.

What a fabulous spot! We finally visited after having it on our list for months, and we're just sorry we didn't make it in sooner. We had some beautiful wines, relying on staff recommendations, which were excellent. We also had the small charcuterie board between the two of us and it was wonderfully varied and very generous. We had it for dinner and took almost half of it home! The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We felt super welcome. The design of the space is beautiful and seating is very comfortable with plenty of space for groups or smaller gatherings. We look forward to returning!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Blackbird wine bar in Anacortes, WA. Let me tell you, it was an experience I will not forget. From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The interior was delightful and inspiring. Incorporating unique decor into a cozy atmosphere. But it wasn't just the ambiance that impressed me. It was the owner's hands-on approach and extensive knowledge that truly made this place stand out. We were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm. The owner's engaging conversation kept us entertained throughout the entire evening. The charcuterie board was the stuff of dreams. It boasted an impressive mix of in-house creations and local goodies from A-Town Bistro. I tell you, every morsel was bursting with flavor and had me wanting to order more and more. It was an experience not to be missed. And the wine! Oh, the wine. It was fantastic, to say the least. We opted for a small charcuterie board to share between the two of us, and it was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious wines we were enjoying. Speaking of the bar, I highly recommend sitting there when you visit Blackbird. It's where the action is. Engage with the delightful staff. Trust me, you won't be disappointed. In conclusion, if you're looking for an incredibly unique experience with friendly service, look no further than Blackbird Wine Bar. I can't recommend this place enough, and I can't wait to go back myself. Bravo!

Pleasant little wine bar with nice atmosphere. We only had a glass of wine each but we will return to sample the charcuterie at some point!

They only do wine by the glass/bottle, no flights, and I did two glasses. Both superb. Enjoyed chatting with the owner and several others that did a drink on a late afternoon. Was really impressed by how dry and tasty the wines were. Recently updated back area really looked relaxing. If in the area and you like wine, you must visit.

My brought me here for celebrate my graduation and was a blast! Bryan is so attentive and sweet! And the charcuterie are amazing and wine is perfect. We got Portuguese wine Vinho Verde. Can wait to come back!

A local gem! This wine bar has a great vibe and a well-curated menu. The owner was very friendly and helpful in selecting wines. Wines by the glass and bottle are available, as well as a bunch of snack and charcuterie options. A classy spot to grab a drink before dinner or gather with friends.
