McFiler's

So we wanted To try somewhere we hadn’t been before. Upon walking in, we realized it was a little bit more of a dark, bar setting. There was a band getting ready to play and setting up. But we thought we’d give it a try because the reviews were pretty good. My husband ordered a steak, and I had a salad and fries. The steak came out with grilled onions and mushrooms on it and was cooked to perfection. My husband absolutely loved it, and was very pleasantly surprised. It’s not a steakhouse or a place that you’d expect to get such a great steak, but it was amazing.

Great food, and drinks. Surprised at how many great beers they had on tap. Drink was amazing and food was fantastic, as usual! I read lots of reviews where people seemed surprised about the loud music and bar atmosphere. Make no mistake…this is a BAR! But if you love Rock and Roll, good whiskey and tasty burgers, this is your spot!! Lots of events and great food specials makes this our favorite neighborhood bar! Gotta shout out their chicken fried steak too. I’m Southern and they have the only acceptable CFS I’ve found in WA.

Cool little place. We got the basket with a little bit of everything in it. Overall it was ok fried seafood. The oysters though had a horrible flavor. I could not eat another one. Not sure if it was bad or they were stuffed with something but it was not eatable. The staff was awesome and so was the service. I would not recommend the fried oysters.

Stopped by to give it a try, had seen local reviews and news about McFiler's. The French dip was fantastic, the au jus meaty...not salty and the fries perfect...crisp and fluffy! The place reminded me of a tavern I worked at in the 70s, so felt at home. The best part was having lunch for free as they do appreciate veterans! Will definitely be back to try one of their burgers!

Stopped in while we were on a road trip and we couldn’t have been more pleased. Skyler was fantastic & took care of us like out of town friends he wanted to impress. Our cheeseburgers (with bacon) were chubby bunny perfection as were our margaritas & our appetizer sampler was way too tasty, for our own good. I would highly recommend this place & we will totally put it on our list of places to visit anytime we find ourselves in Chehalis

Food was wonderful everything tasted like it came straight off the farm. highly recommend

We stopped by on our way through town for a quick lunch and McFilers was perfect. We had our 8 month old with us and it was perfectly kid friendly despite looking totally like a bar 🙂 The place was incredibly clean, service was wonderful and the food was delicious! We had wings and highly recommend the McFilers sauce. Wonderful place!

Kitchy cool, absolutely punk rock in every way, the food is good, I had the Polynesian shrimp special, it was Tim Armstrong punk rock, and Damian Marley, mowhawks and one gorgeous lady with pink hair. Absolutely approve and will repeat.
