1928 Cocktails and Bites

Loved this speakeasy! The drinks are beautiful and extravagant, perhaps a little sweet. Get The Rabbit! The small bites are easily shareable. The jazz is awesome and creates quite an atmosphere. I thought the waitstaff was the right amount of attentive and hands-off so I could properly enjoy my night.

In one word, underwhelming. I love the concept but the execution was lacking. First off, we got two dishes that were not what we ordered and they never brought the one that we had asked for even after we asked about it. The steak was a little tough, and everything lacked flavor. When the waitress brought our food and leaned over to set a plate down, her hair (which was down) got into the plates that hadn’t been set down yet. The service was slow, we waited for 30 minutes to get a box for the leftovers after paying. The person I was with enjoyed the Rabbit drink and the sweet potato fries, but there is nothing I would go back for. Again, love the concept but I feel like it didn’t live up to the hype.

Great little cocktail bar. Drinks were fun and service was great. Wonderful atmosphere! We had the Rabbit and the Moon River as recommended by the bartender. They were beautiful and tasted great. We also order some of their plates and enjoyed them. They were the cheese curds wontons and the steak plate. They were fantastic. Thanks for the experience!!!! The bar tender worked hard and was we loved watching him. Would highly recommend.

We loved this place! Great cocktails, mocktails, and vibes. All of the food (small plates) sounded good. We had sweet potato fries and they were phenomenal.

I really wanted to like this place. Some of the cocktails were good for sure, but the chairs are horrible and the service was pretty slow even though we were the only people there (6 of us). We waited a long time for stuff. They were nice though and gave us a sample of a drink.

Super unique space. Intimate and cozy. Surprised they have live music which deserves all 5 stars. Perfect date space. Small bites are also a unique and small enough to not be a huge meal. Also really appreciated the solid selection of unique NA cocktails that don't feel like and afterthought. This place would be unique even in a larger city

Went on a Saturday night with a live jazz pianist playing (Eric Heukeshoven) and it was wonderful!! Great drinks - lots of adventurous and interesting flavors but they also accommodated my partner who wanted something simple and sweet. The atmosphere was really nice, so much attention to detail. The servers were welcoming and informative. Despite being (what I would call) more upscale there was no pretentiousness in the room.

Came to 1928 for a fun date night and had a wonderful time. Cozy seats and great live music. Bartender gave me a surprise drink and it was delicious, it was called the rabbit. My husband doesn’t drink and got a fantastic na drink, forbidden city. He said it was great not too sweet. If you’re looking for a fun low key place with live music and fun atmosphere for date night I recommend!
