City Limits Tavern

I was there for the drag show which was AMAZING! So many amazing dancers with amazing atmosphere around the show. But they sold City Limits to someone turning it into a restaurant. There are pool tables. Typical standard bar, otherwise. It was a $10 cover charge to get in.

I’ve been to a lot of bars in Utah. This bar is one of the friendliest. Drinks are always amazing, and there’s ZERO JUDGEMENT. It’s wonderful. The drag shows every other Friday are really quite amazing. They’re always different with different entertainers, etc. Their entertainment and bands and DJ’s are the best around. Love the stage and entertainment space. Pretty cool bar!

Cute little bar in Provo, a bit dated but good vibes! Tucker is a great bartender and kept us tipsy all night. Not a bad spot for Utah County, and the DJ was GREAT! Would love to come back on a busier night for a bit more energy in the space.

Very laid back and well kept bar. Every bartender is extremely kind and helpful, we never had to wait long for them to check in on us and ask if we would like more. Great selections of taps and liquor, and nearly every patron we have spoken to we have become friends with. Would absolutely recommend

This is an awesome local bar. It's always been awesome, but they've really cleaned it up in the last year or so. On Friday nights it's intensely busy, because of the drag queen show. On other nights and days, it's pretty slow, but it's always a cool, chill bar.

There is an entrance fee even if there is no event going on. It's not a cool enough place for that. Just went to play a game of pool but a fight broke out before we could get a table. Not one single employee even seemed to notice the fight going on. We didn't even finish our drinks before leaving. This was the second time that has happened. For reference I've been there only two times this year and it happened both times. Edit: The last fight (punches were thrown) occurred 2 weeks ago. Not that you asked. This place is dinky. And apparently the owners aren't above gaslighting to hide that fact.

This is my favorite bar in Provo. Weekdays it has a neighborhood bar feel (picture 4 old dudes, aka "the regulars" and maybe a handful other people shooting pool or whatever). On the weekends its a different story, there is always something interesting happening to draw a crowd. Its never so busy that you cant get a drink or have a conversation though. Its definitely a bit of a dive bar, but if you haven't stopped in recently, there have been some great changes over the last couple of years and a revisit might be in order!
