Just popped in for a few drinks the other day. I've heard good things. It's a pretty nice looking place. Bartenders are very kind and sociable. Had a couple espresso martinis, and my mate I'd the Purple Reign, both very good. The menu seems to be a few chefs choice menu specials and a handful of appetizers. I'm looking forward to trying out the dining experience soon@!

Went for Bingo After Dark, and the atmosphere and drinks were fun, so I added a star for that. However, they claim to have gluten free food on their menu, and it is NOT gluten free. All their food is fried in the same fryer and you have to interrogate the waitstaff to find out that it actually isn’t gluten free. If you have a gluten intolerance or Celian disease, definitely don’t eat their food. It isn’t safe.

Amazing experience at the Barrel and Stave tonight! Tried the Chef's Special Dinner four-course mealfor dinner and he nailed it! The first course was a unique Caprese salad with basil aioli (very good). The second course was gnocchi with tomato sauce and parmesan (the heat from ground peppercorn was excellent). The third course was teriyaki ribs with a kimchi salad (fall-off-the-bone meat and mild heat but great flavored kimchi). The desert was an interestingly subtle PB&J-flavored custard that rounded out the meal perfectly. For drinks, I had the tasty Old Fashioned and a spicy Jalapeno Margarita. My wife had the Purple Reign and enjoyed that. Service was outstanding and the Chef even stopped by the table to ensure we had enjoyed the meal. I was very pleased with the whole experience. My wife said she's had two four-star restaurant meals in her life - and the meal she had tonight was better than both of those. Definitely returning soon and very highly recommend!

This bar is fantastic and the perfect addition to Logan's food + drink scene. Each dish and craft cocktail is exceptional, and the oysters are fresh. The atmosphere is cool; a comfortable speakeasy vibe with toned-down lighting and mid-century furnishings. Make the time to stop by, you won't regret it!

I can’t believe I just paid $18 for a charcuterie board that looked like it was pieced together from a Walmart party tray. Our less than enthusiastic server was not very attentive let alone seemed like she would have been receptive to our disappointment.

We arrived not knowing it was bingo night, we thought it would be fun. We waited a good 15 mins to grab a waitress, after having to hunt for a menu. My drink arrived about 20 mins after ordering, my husbands drink was mistakingly given to the wrong person, so I drank my cocktail alone while waiting another 15 mins for his to be remade. 45 mins after ordering we got our coconut shrimp and mango salsa. I finally went to the bar to ask for a manager was was met with “he’s walking around here somewhere” and finally got my husbands cocktail which I carried to our table. I understand they are busy, but the lack of communication and nonchalance with customer service makes me want to never return. Which is unfortunate because the few things were ordered were good.

Love the idea of this place, it has so much potential yet lacks a bit with the change up of food available. The servers should not be serving food with their hair not put up in a ponytail or bun style. Tank tops are a bit of a cleanliness concern for servers. Overall this establishment has alot to offer for the area. The oysters are delicious and the drinks are well worth the cost. Love this place, hope it takes a bit of constructive criticism in the nicest way possible.

Loved this place the first time my husband and I came. Came with a friend tonight and the man who served us was awesome. Attentive, friendly, and on top of it. Had someone with a short blonde haircut help us for a minute and she was awful. Had an attitude when we had one sip of a drink and sent it back, then tried to charge us for it. My friend who I brought with me, who is extremely non combative, even agreed that the other server was rude. You do not have to pay for a drink you do not like in Utah. It is not the law and do not try to tell people it is such. Disappointing and lost customers who would have been regulars off of this experience. I highly suggest avoiding her at all costs.
