LOVE this place. Sooooo many self pour options (not just beer!), events, outdoor seating, board games, etc. They give you a bracelet that you put up to the spot just below the label/screen (above the tap), and it will measure how much you pour, which will then calculate how much you owe - i.e. you won’t be overcharged, and it’s a fun aspect of it all. It’s in such a hip area of Knoxville; checking out this corner of downtown can’t be beat.

I really enjoyed the set up and it wasn't very pricey like I expected it to be. There were plenty of tables to sit around and a few board games to play while you drink. Neat set up. You pay with a card and they give you a wrist band to walk around and scan at different taps to choose whatever drink you want and they charge per ounce.

Drag trivia night is an absolute must! Visited the first time with some friends and loved the atmosphere here at Pour. Never experienced a place like this before, but the open taps and bracelet scanning were seamless to use. The staff was kind and walked me through everything, the chips and dip were Can’t wait to come back and try again soon! 🙂

I had heard about this company that was doing self serve taps that use an bracelet with a chip to open the tap a few years ago. Unfortunately none were in my area to check out. So when I saw a bar in Knoxville had the system, I said let's check it out. First the bar is in an old warehouse type building with a great brick exterior, exposed beams and high ceilings inside. There is plenty of seating outside for those beautiful days. The inside has tables but set up more to be social tables. So the first thing you need to do is go to the counter and check in. Tennessee has this crazy law where they have to check everyone's ID, even your grandmother's. That was fine because we needed our bracelets. Joy, I think that was her name, explained how it all worked. She even took us to the taps and explained it. The range of beers was great. They had wine on tap that you could get also. Everything is charged by the ounce. You could create you own flight as you went or filler up. Once you hit a total of 28 ounces, you had to go back to the desk to get them to unlock more. That is how they control someone not getting to smashed. The biggest piece to this is there is no waiting for the bartender or waitress getting you a beer, you are your own bartender. They do have food. We looked at the menu on line before heading down. It did not match complete when we got there. That was ok because they still had some great selections. I had the Mambo Italiano. It a few different meats on a rosemary focaccia bread and grilled with some Zacks Voodoo chips. For fun there were different boxes games to grab and play, an electronic dart board and great conversation. There was a calendar of different things going on different days. They also had a stage for live music on some nights. It was a great time and I will return.

Nirvana for the adventurous beer taster. No need to pour any more than a sip to try, but pour a lot of the ones you like! I love this concept and wish more cities had a tap tasting room like this. Try a beer with no fear about the size of the pour.

It was a unique experience. I’ve never been to a taproom before and not a beer drinker, but tried a few different ones and came to really like the peach one. It’s sweet and smooth, easy to drink. Loved that the place had a lot of searing outdoors.

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad I did! There's a huge selection of beer, cider, wine, etc. to choose from. The wristband system is so unique. I like that you decide how much you pour so you're not wasting money on a tall drink you won't finish. There were board games by the bar for anyone to use, so we played Uno. The cards were pretty old and worn, but I say that's a good sign they're getting a lot of use! Will be visiting again!
