Sidelines Grill Ashland City

Went for lunch with a friend today. When we walked in, the aroma was appetizing, and we were looking forward to lunch. However, once we had our drinks, service was slow, and we waited quite some time for our food. The server who brought it out practically threw it on the table and walked away without a word. Our food had good flavor, but was lukewarm at best - it had clearly been sitting, waiting to be brought out (the shredded cheese on top of my lettuce was beginning to get a little melted from heat lamps). It was a good thing we weren't very thirsty because we were never offered refills of our drinks. Now, I'm sympathetic when places are shorthanded - if they handle it properly. I don't know that they were or weren't today because nobody ever said. Nobody said, "sorry for your wait," or asked how things were after we'd had a chance to try the food. When we asked for the check, the server just told us the total and seemed a little put out that I wanted a printed copy of the bill so I could see the charges before paying. Then she had the audacity to pre-select a 25% tip on the payment device. I won't be going back.

Very nice sports bar with a big outdoor area. They have 2 for 1 draft beer Mon-Fri but I cant remember until what time. The fried mushrooms are fresh, not frozen and are amazing! The portions are huge. The "side" salad is enough for 2 people to split, and the French Dip is one of the best I've ever eaten. Get it w Pepperjack cheese (it's not spicy). Ask for Sierra. She was the epitome of good service! You'll love her, too! We will definitely make this a go-to place.

Was not bad but unfortunately was not good. The food was nothing special but it could have been. Fries cold. Bacon on the burger not strips but a bits/pieces mess of bacon. The Chili meat on the Nachos resembled small meatballs. Just many little things which add up to one big thing. I could have a mentioned more but I don't want to appear completely negative. It is not a bad place. Just could have easily been a great place. One thing though is that they could clean the tables and seats better and more often. One final thing, the service was stellar. Food was slow in arriving but, Cassie the Server was OUTSTANDING!

Such a gem of a place. I'm eating the leftover meatloaf from my lunch right now so I'm inspired to leave a review. Meatloaf is really great. Had the catfish couple weeks ago.. they have a delicious catfish done nice. Best eggrolls and those awesome brick mozzarella sticks. Just saying...

Man, this place was brilliant. Shout out to Sierra, the waitress that went above and beyond to make it a great experience. She knew the menu and pointed me in the right direction of some great food! Very pleasant, laid-back atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

The food was the best I've ever eaten at sidelines. Everything... food, tea, and waitress was very nice and right on it... food was hot and never ran out of refills. So thank u for a great dinner! Pics are from Halloween 2023.

The noisiest place I have ever been in. Karaoke night was loud and awful. I lost my appetite. The steak biscuits were tough as leather and the biscuits were the size of a half dollar and hard as a rock. I will not be back. SORRY!

Small town feel still present at Sidelines, late lunch time so wasn't to busy. Portions were just right. Understand at times they have dinner time karaoke and trivia in the evening.
