Barrel House

One of the best experiences I’ve had at any place ever. Heard about them through Burnt Barrel Meadery and stopped in tonight with friends to check it out. Atmosphere was perfect. Decided to do the create your own blend experience and tasted through 23 barrels consisting of Wheated, Bourbon, Rye and Barely until we were able to create the ideal blend. The owners Steve and Denise were amazing and provided and unforgettable experience. And of course the cocktails are top notch!

I’d give it more stars if I could! Denise and Stephen are so welcoming and kind. The barrel experience is definitely worth it! They let you take your time and taste everything, while also offering guidance and some fun stories along the way! I can’t recommend this spot enough. Whether you are looking for a comfortable spot for a nice drink, or a full date night experience! My husband and I LOVED it!

Impromptu stop here on a late Friday afternoon while running errands. After 30 minutes, errands suddenly seemed not important. A peaceful, quiet atmosphere enables one to enjoy a fantastic Old Fashioned and Bourbon Blackberry Margarita. Not sure what do get? No worries, the knowledgeable, friendly staff will make nothing less than a stellar recommendation. Enjoy!

Came here after a friend told me about this place. Saturday evening and they had live music. Decided to have their flight sampler and enjoyed the QR codes to read about each one. Then me and my husband each had a drink that was fantastic! Met the owners and both them and the staff were so nice and attentive! Will be back for the whisky blending experience in the future.

Had a wonderful time with friends. Food and drinks were delicious and beautifully presented. The seating was comfortable. Hosts Steve and Denise were very friendly and knowledgeable. Am looking forward to going back!

So impressed by the personal welcome and service culture. Tasted a variety of whisky cocktails and landed on this amazing Blackberry Margarita. Yum!! Will definitely be back for a girls night out or taking dad for making his own whiskey. Love the place!

I wanted to give a shout out to the crew at Barrel House STL in St. Louis, Missouri for a great experience yesterday. They had 4 different mash bills of whiskey & bourbon at various barrel proofs and age you can thief straight out of the barrel and try. I think they had about 20 barrels there. I have to say the Rye and Barley were my favorite, it was nice to get as many samples of each as you want. Stephen was awesome and very passionate about whiskey . Very cool place, looking forward to going back together with a group of friends soon.

Although I came here for an Old Fashioned drink (and it was great), I also had their slush with floater that was PERFECT on this hot day! I'll be coming back soon for the whisky flight (and maybe the whisky experience with 22 barrels worth of taste testing! yum!)
