This place is BEYOND Awesome! Wes Anderson themed and it doesn't disappoint! The bartender that was working while I was there was great! She was talkative and super personable, really made the entire experience here top notch! The drinks were superb. I had 2 of the "little pilots" and a "genever sour", both were knock your socks off good! The owner was there and he was super friendly and a good conversationalist! It's a tiny spot, very intimate, but truly welcoming. I really can't wait to come back here!!!

The Royal is such a unique and eccentric bar. They craft their cocktails carefully and come up with drinks unlike any other bar in Springfield. The owner has created such a distinctive atmosphere and the bartenders are always friendly/prompt. It can be classy to bring someone on a romantic date, or casual enough to visit weekly. They recently added food to their menu that I think is worth talking about. Soup, sandwiches, and salads! It’s a quaint lunch time spot. Their potato leek soup is delightful and definitely worth stopping in for. Overall, the royal is a lovely and enjoyable experience.

This place is truly a gem. The atmosphere is unique, and the food was beyond expectation. They served the best moche latte I've ever had. Bonus star for being eco-conscious as their take-out boxes and drinks come in materials you can compost!

Absolutely love The Royal— awesome cocktails, amazing atmosphere, great customer service/staff… The owner is a great guy and really takes pride in his business and craft cocktails. He’s created an amazing place. If you’re looking for a great drink, good music, unique vibe, etc. you must visit! Highly recommend.

It was all amazing... but that BISCUIT was insane! Order it with a side of gravy and your life will be complete! Also, they have great coffee/cold brew from the best roasters! Go check this place out!
