We had an excellent time at The Barrel Room! Beer was fresh and plentiful! The Barrel Room is a first of its kind in Shelbyville considering the semi-dry nature of the county. The selection of brewed beer was impressive although I must say that none of the beer is brewed on site, but rather brewed nearby and tapped here in Shelbyville at the Barrel Room. They also offer guest taps as well from local favorites. The ambiance is cozy and clean. Modernized lounge areas including an inviting mezzanine upstairs are a comfortable touch and offer plenty of privacy when you want to grab a beer and talk with friends. There's a stage in the back of the building which the staff inform me they are working on getting live music eventually. Can't wait to go back for another round!

A nice experience at Old Louisville Brewing Barrel Room in Shelbyville, KY. Great venue off Main St downtown with a nice selection of their own beers and some select visiting taps. They also had a large selection of Bourbons and Whiskeys, which I can only assume are from the local area (not much of a fan myself). The wife loved the Christmas Cookies brew and I was partial to their Kölsch.

Love the atmosphere and our bar tender was so nice! We will be back for sure. I'm excited for our small town to have such a great hang out spot.

Noticed this place earlier today while I was driving through downtown. My wife and I decided to stop in and check it out and it’s a really neat little place! They have a pretty good beer selection and you can order food to be delivered from Bell House across the street. There is a nice little stage too so I would love to see some live music at some point!

Stopped in for the first time recently to hear a band. The venue setup was very nice. The stage is raised a bit so very easy to see the band even from farther back. The sound was great. The staff was very friendly. The service was great and the drink was delicious. I highly recommend this venue for live music just about any night of the week.

The Barrel Room has never disappointed. They have a very good selection of beers and they are reasonably priced. Plenty of local and regional musical acts. Staff are very friendly and the establishment is exceptionally clean. I wish I lived closer so I could visit more often.
