The Bar Olathe

Usually our service here is not good. We almost did not come back because of the bad service BUT!!!!!! We came back and got Stephanie as our server and she was HANDS DOWN AMAZING. Knowledgeable, intentive, friendly, fun to hang around. She made our experience amazing and I can always come back and ask for her to serve us in her section. We even got the days she works just to come back again. Way to go girl! Amazing service.

The Bar Olathe is my favorite bar. Kyle and Lauren always remember everyone’s name and drink. .All of the other bartenders are great too. Alexis has the TVs mastered!! The food is fantastic. Everything on the menu is good. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. I have met a lot of great people there.

London was our server and she was so accommodating! We came to watch the ISU game and she gladly put on the game for us. She was very friendly and checked in with us multiple times. The food and drinks were great! Highly recommend The Bar!

Thai chicken wrap was good, but no Thai chili sauce. It's a soy sauce with maybe some lo main sauce to thicken it up.

Tyce is solely the reason I had such a 5 star experience. He not only brought out my Mac n cheese in an efficient timely manner, but also provided me with the best compliments a man could ask for. You never know what someone is going through, and he gave me such a down to earth attitude that was a breath of fresh air. I will be coming back! And I hope I get Tyce as my server every time. He’s truly a care giver and just emits pure hospitality.

Request Sophia as your waitress. She was amazing, very cheerful and thoughtful. Good food and great atmosphere. Will definitely come back.

07.02.2022 We had dinner here. We have eaten before at this place and were disappointed. This might have skewed our opinion this time. My wife had the cobb salad. she said it was fairly good, but many other places do a better one. There were some good topping. eggs, bacon, cheese, tomatoes. I had a bacon cheddar burger. I ordered it "medium". I was expecting maybe tiny bit of pink, but mostly grey. you can see in one of my pictures it was very raw looking. I typically order my steaks medium rare. I think this burger was that or rawer. the center wasn't very warm at all. in general the burger was very good, but little raw for my taste. we also had some free (birthday club) funnel fries. They tasted like funnel cake. they sprinkled powered sugar on top and gave us warm liquid carmel for us to dip them in. They were pretty good. Overall, we weren't that happy with anything but the desert.

A great place to go to for lunch dinner or a drink. Great food at reasonable prices. Top notch service as well. Patio seating in good weather.
