Local Nakamal is a wonderful place to relax and sociol with family and friends. The owners are very friendly and the worker as well. I enjoy every moment at Local Nakamal. I recommend people going there instead of bars.

The Local Nakamal is a cozy non-alcoholic bar that provides a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They remember your name and welcome you upon entry. The Nakamal felt like a safe space to experience the calming effects of Kava and have friendly conversations. I believe they just have drinks at the moment but plan to add to their menu. They offer coffee, teas, kava, seltzers, and mocktails. They also have an oxygen bar and a pool table. There is plenty of space to relax and have a good time.

The Local Nakamal is a wonderful addition to Sheridan. A very refreshing environment that’s welcoming to any walks of life and finally a new hangout spot that’s not another bar…YAY! The Kava is the best I’ve ever had, and dang, is it smooth! The decorations and theme in this lovely Kava bar will transport you from the mountains, directly to the heart of the jungle. I definitely recommend, but especially if you want to get away from the toxic bar scene.
