The Berry & Rye

No food, just cocktails, but it was just what I was hoping for when I came in. A craft cocktail bar with a great decorative theme and relaxed, chill vibe, and of course the cocktails did not disappoint. I had a cocktail called the Venom, which was nice change of pace and contained some complex notes complementing the bourbon. Spherical clear ice is a nice touch, little things like that elevate the drink, and the experience. Great place to go for drinks!

Great cocktail bar in Omaha. Luke is an excellent bartender and everyone was welcoming. Would definitely come back. We struggled to find the place at first but soon discovered the entrance is on Howard Street.

One of my favorite cocktail lounges. Everyone I have taken there has loved it! I love how they change up the menu regularly, but leaves some of the classics. Their cocktails are well crafted, I may have only disliked 1 out of the many drinks I have tried. Our servers have always been great, they check on us multiple times and are very sweet. The ambience is delightful, it’s not loud in there which makes for a great spot to sit and chat with friends.

During our most recent visits to Omaha, we set out as usual to research and visit any potential stand out craft cocktail bars. My searches led us to a few places including The Berry & Rye. Our conclusion? The Berry & Rye was the most unique and exceptional craft cocktail bar we visited. It had a true unique and independent vibe, The decor was posh, swank and vibrantly eclectic and classy, the mixologist was super cool and chill, welcoming and hospitable, and talented and independently innovative. We enjoyed our craft cocktails; and then I enjoyed a pour of my favorite Italian digestíf (Braulio) afterwards.

If you love a good crafted cocktail this is place is a must! The staff is wonderful. If you need a recommendation don’t hesitate to ask your bartender or waitress. The aesthetics are super pleasing to the eye. This place is great for a good photo on the comfy bench! This bar has some good gin and tequila cocktails. This is a great bar for a date night, girls night, guys night, or you just want to pop in for a drink or two! They have a bartender who is the OG of making cocktails. He can make anything from scratch. Located in the downtown old market district. This is a great place to a cocktail before or after dinner! You won’t be disappointed. They are opened daily from 3pm - 12am.

We went a couple of months ago and had a great experience, but we went last night and had a not-so-great one. We got there around 9 pm and sat down. The waitress came by to offer us water and said she’d be back to take our drink order. We waited over 30 minutes (from 9 pm to 9:36 pm) for her to come back and she never did. It seems like they were understaffed, but all the tables around us only had water too, no matter if they got there before or after us. We were disappointed!

One word: BEYOND INCREDIBLE. There is a reason that when you Google "Best Bars in Omaha" this comes up. It's got the flavor, it's got the vibe, it's got the customer service, it's got the amazing and wonderful and talk-to-able bartenders, it's got the bar vibe that you wanna take your wife to and ask the bartender "I like x y z what do you suggest" and they give you the best cocktail you've ever had in your life. Of their ingredients, aside from the liquor, there are so many homemade and prepped ingredients that it's admirable. The music is heavy indie and psychedelic: it's a popular cocktail bar in downtown Omaha so that's the musical vibe.
