Three Needs

Place is very cool. Pool hall in the back. Foosball and board games ready to go. Options for beer is awesome with a wide selection. Lots of character here, you can feel the history. I’d definitely recommend a visit. Pizza is pretty good, not great.

The gluten free pizza is fairly priced and of good quality. Some of the staff are of such an extraordinarily aggressive and socially inept variety that I have never been so bewildered in my entire life. They would rather smoke, walk around in circles muttering to themselves about how much they hate everything, tossing things around the kitchen so loudly they'd make your ears ring, and screaming at people than spare any effort in serving them. This leads one to wonder how the business makes any money. This is not a bad restaurant. It is simply let down by bad staff.

DO NOT COME TO THIS BAR. We came as a group for a wedding and have never experienced such a rude bar manager in our lives. He was homophobic and extremely inappropriate. We live in the area and belong to several social groups and will make sure nobody we know comes back to this place. The owner of this bar should seriously consider finding a new manager to run this bar as you will soon alienate all of your future customers.

Never felt the need to write a review for a place until now- Terrible service from the bartender, verbatim got told “[I] *would* be the type that wouldn’t tip.” After buying one drink with the original intention of buying more. After that interaction? No way. Didn’t try the food, so I can’t speak on that, but the music was super mismatched to the atmosphere, which is definitely personal preference, but when you’ve got a cool retro vibe that’s honestly super neat and you pair it with sub-par modern club style music I feel like that’s a miss but hey, I’m one person. Anyways, never going back unless they figure out a different bartending staff- I’m never looking to be criticized and have my character judged OR feel guilted into tipping someone on a fun night out. I hope that bartender has the day they deserve.

Tried to get pizza from the window but it was closed so we went inside to order. The guy watching the door wasn’t even doing his job just kind of walking around. Asked for our ids just to get pizza. I know it’s a bar but if the window is closed and they want you to come inside how are some people of youth supposed to get food? That wasn’t all though. My friends ordered one pizza for all of us and the guy flipped out after we paid and said the tip wasn’t enough and he wasn’t even going to make the pizza. We asked for our money back and he threw it back at us. This place is a certified Joke!!!! Do not go here!!

I went here tonight and received extremely poor service. Drinks were cheap which was the attraction, but don’t expect any type of service. We had this bartender, ungroomed looking, hippie appearance having the nerve to come over to complain about his tip for the poor service. He caused a scene due to his greed. It was completely unprofessional and immature. This individual raised gis voice, disrespected and unnecessarily used profanity. He tried to take advantage of the drunk person closing out the bill by attempting to manipulate him into increasing his tip. Management needs to reevaluate this employee for his poor customer service and inappropriate behavior. This is completely unacceptable.

Classic dobe bar with a tolerable pizza bar. Can't go wrong. Mildly loud, and can get rowdy.

We love the fun atmosphere, beers and pizza, but wish they'd go back to showing more movies and animation on the TV screens. Great pizza options and good selection of beer.
