Our favorite neighborhood restaurant! Service is always outstanding and the staff is fantastic! If you want French onion soup you won’t find it better than at suspenders. Burgers are great, sandwiches are always a go to and if you like tacos try the Cajun shrimp or chicken. Whatever you choose you can’t go wrong!! Highly recommend Suspenders!!

I had a fantastic experience at Suspenders Restaurant and Pub, probably my fourth time here so that means it’s time for a review. The team, and our outstanding server David, made the evening memorable. The chicken franchise, bang bang shrimp, and Sausage Rigatoni were all rich in flavor and exceptional in quality, making it impossible to pick a favorite. I’m eager to return and try the fish and chips next time. The diverse menu and welcoming atmosphere at Suspenders truly make it a standout dining destination.

Every visit I have made to Suspender’s has been extremely positive. The food, drinks, atmosphere, and service are phenomenal. The manager Hannah never fails to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Every member of the service staff is attentive, kind, and personable. The food and drinks are delicious and the rotating list of specials are always creative and fun. If you are looking for a local restaurant to add to your rotation, I highly recommend stopping by Suspender’s! You will not be disappointed!

Been here a few times now and Suspenders Restaurant and Bar is an old time but modern, family friendly place in an off the beaten path in Union Nrw Jersey. It's a 10 minute walk from the Union Train Station and Kean University so easy to get to. The Food is reasonable price, served in a timely manner and really tasted great. I love the quesadillas and the burgers are very good too. Drinks are very good and priced just right. They have TVs and you can with or without kids just sit at the bar or you can sit outside which I love to do when the weather is appropriate. With a friendly owner and service staff, great tasting food and some really great drinks, I recommend that you check it out when in the area.

Stopped by with my frenchie pup and my girlfriend for a quick lunch. The server sat us outside.we both ordered Arnold palmers to drink(not sweetened) but it was still a solid drink. I ordered a turkey club sandwich with sweet potato fries( super crispy and delicious)and my girl ordered the siracha honey chicken sandwich with onion rings, she loved it. Overall it was phenomenal and we love the fact that they’re super pet friendly, we will definitely be back.

I will return if for no other reason than I love their chicken and cheese dip! Seriously! It's ridiculously good. That said, I did also enjoy my Eiffel Tower Burger. I liked the parmesan fries. I appreciated being invited to sample the beers I narrowed my choices to. Service was excellent. There was an odd odor in the place, though. Reminded me of moth balls and I almost turned around to leave as soon as I walked in. Maybe it was just that night? So I don't want to dwell on that. It's close to home so I'm sure I'll check it out again.

I had no idea that this great neighborhood bar and grill existed. They had a large outdoor deck, and even larger outdoor covered area, one for drinks and another for sit down table service, but these last two were not being used the evening we went as there weren't many customers and it seemed like they weren't staffed to support it that day. We sat on the deck and and enjoyed a nice dinner and drinks with our friends. Service was great with quick refills of our drinks and ensuring that everything was good with the food. Looking forward to going back here again

We had lunch here for the first time recently. The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. The menu had a bunch of great-sounding dishes that we'll have to come back for at dinner time. The cocktail menu was also inviting. We'll be back soon!
