This was my first dinner stop on Beale Street. I arrived and found dueling pianos were playing! On a Thursday night there wasn't even a cover charge. There is someone at the door so I thought they were collecting a charge, but she was just there to welcome you in! Ordered the catfish basket. The fish was a generous size and perfectly fried with a light batter. The fish was still flaky and not dry at all. Also tried the small rib platter. Tried two bites of the ribs, first was amazingly tender with a great flavor. My second bite was a bit dry. Also the baked beans are a must with the chunks of pork cooked in there. The Cole slaw is different with its vinegar base. They also have a nice history, with a goat in the courtyard. Didn't make it out there, but it was always lively with live bands. Unfortunately I didn't make it to the restroom here, so can't report on that

I rarely write low reviews, I appreciate the restaurants for what they are. But I was very disappointed with this one. 1. I walked in and was told to pick a seat, to find out there was no service in the patio area. 2. Relocated, still no service. Finally the hostess/manager took my drink order. 3. They DO NOT have raw Oysters, even though it's said so on the menu, they all are baked under cheese or spinach sauce. 4. Service was poor. 5. They had the worst singer in the Universe. The best part was when he said he was taking a break. Highlights: super cute And a very very very hard working hostess/managers, she must her a raise!

They have goats living outside in a pen! It was a highlight seeing them. The outdoor patio is nice, but the service was next to non-existent event though it wasn't busy. Drink prices were high. Food was pretty average.

Easy to get a table and fast service. The raw oysters were ok, a little too large in my opinion. Also had the gumbo and it was delicious. Not a big food menu but alot of unique drinks to choose from. Music is very loud so not a place to go if you want to talk or visit with folks.

Stopped in while visiting Memphis. I got the sampler so I could try a little bit of everything. It was awesome! My server and the entire staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend you stop in! I looked for the goats but I didn't see them. It may have been to hot.

This was a fun place to stop grab a bite and some of the BEST drinks! We listen to some great live music. The goats were fun to watch throughout the night too!

From security to barback the staff here was awesome. Eager to talk to newbies in town to give advice, directions to after hours local spots, and the drinks are priced well even in a swamp of low price get you in the for joints which this is not. It's normalcy in chaos, a house party where you know the host instead of a fraternity party where you try to fit in. Thank you for a fun night y'all. Also, goats!

I sat outside for lunch and listened to some great live music. Had a couple delicious local brews on tap and a shrimp po' boy. The po' boy would have been a lot better with a remoulade or some other sauce, something better than a smear of mayo and mustard. But Silky O'Sullivans is definitely a place I'd visit again if I'm ever back in Memphis.
