Bad customer service. I visited on the 7th of October in the afternoon, at the reception I was greeted by a middle aged person who spoke no English, he barked one word orders in broken English. I felt uncomfortable and cheap. It was my first visit, and did not know my way around. A warm welcome and a smile would have made this international fellow visitor happy. I stayed for a while, but it didn't get any busier. I then moved on to GI Joe, and it was totally the opposite. The receptionist smiled and gave me clear directions. I felt welcomed and a valued customer. It saved my day! It is a shame that Oasis is stuck in the past. I think international visitors are part of the wider community and should be made feel welcomed as the locals. Frankly, I have travelled the world, and I felt more welcomed in obscure countries than I have in Oasis. Please get some customer service training in place. The rest of the world sees Mtl as a bilingual world-class city.

The hay-day of gay Saunas may be past but this place is still solid. The facility may need some spruce ups but the vibe is still great. I was there on a Saturday afternoon and the place was well attended. The crowd had a good mix of all ages and body types. The attitude very friendly. I can honestly recommend it.

I've visited this establishment, a lot more , than many would accept to admit openly...and i can say many things, that i've seen with my own eyes...the staff is nice and friendly, but above all, i can say they care about your safety and the safety of your belongnings, lately i've been here a lot... i'm happy to write this review, because i noticed all kinds of things i probably never would of thoght of, the service is good and attentionnate when they have the chance. Catering to this crowd cant possibly be easy. Yet they succeed with a smile. theres too much to say, and not enuf time...i personnally hate exceedinly long reviews, so in a nut shell, i recommend this establishment. Its just that simple.

Front desk, in the afternoon shift, are in urgent need for a complete training on Customer services and how to handle clients. Especially in delicate situations when (arguing with client naked and just for a simple request for a clean towel.) 2 of them, as easily and irrespective to their clients they perteneded to be the manager of the same shift. Also, the last few times I recklessly choose this place over others, but the cleaniness of the room is below basic which by the way made the management recognize the situation and started adding a note memo in every room now asking the clients to represent it at the front desk if the room is not meeting their standards. Arrogance, impolitesse for the young staff or even old towards their clients should be stopped .. on top of that knowing that this client is one of the city Iconic person, ( doesn't matter if for the good or bad) must be handled extra carefully just for the sensitivity of matter. But calling the Police to resolve a situation the front desk staff are responsible for or doesn't want to one of his regular duties is too much to be tolerated. Lastly, waiting for almost 2 hours and half just to resolve a situation and requesting a 10 minutes period of time to take a proper shower before leaving is also handled by refusal in such the whole staff should be flagged at least for this kind of behavior. On the other hands, Many Thanks for the others who were doing their jobs to that level that pleases and satisfies wide range of clients tastes!!

The staff try to rip you off. It happened to me twice. In the second attempt, I made a huge deal and refused to pay. When I arrived, I paid $23 for a room for 6 hours. I arrived at 3:30 a.m. for a fact. I have a McDonald's receipt from the food I grabbed on the way there. The guy at the counter took my card and made me sign a receipt but didn't give me one. That's the second time. When I went to check out at 7:30 a.m., 4 hours later, they tried to charge me an additional $19 telling me I went over my stay. Same exact story as the first time. Aside from that, the place is just okay. The steam and sauna room smell terrible. Otherwise, it's a fun space with lots of play areas. Since GI Joe is closed, Oasis seems a bit busier, so there seems to be a lot of action. Overall, I probably won't return. There are a couple of other spots that are much nicer. When GI Joe returns, that's the spot.

I really enjoyed Oasis. There’s a wide variety of hot guys who are happy to do whatever needs to be done. It’s clean, spacious and the staff are very helpful. As a short guy (5’6” or 167cm) I wish the GH area had bigger openings. I had to stand on my tiptoes a lot, which is a great workout for my calves, but wow they are tired today. 🙂
