Southern Nights TAMPA

8/24/2024 around 2:15am - I went to the restroom to throw up not because I was drunk but because I suffer from a personal matter. The security guard pulled me out by the shirt from the stall, took my drink and dumped it in the trash (the only one I bought from the bar barely touched), and threw me out of the club and told me “you’re done!” He didn’t bother to ask if I was ok. He just assumed that I was drunk because I was throwing up. I’ve never felt so discriminated in my life! And the manager was no help at all. Just stood there and looked away. The staff here have a power trip. Avoid this place and don’t waste your money!

Nice staff and perfect for early shows! Staff has been updated since a few years ago and now they have amazing shows back to back. I purchased a ticket and was able to stay for all three shows. Then it got a little too packed with people so I moved on.

they take fakes of some people and others they don’t. not very nice. watched them do it to multiple groups last night, 10/31/24 its halloween how sad!

This is the BEST southern nights. Every time I come here I have such an amazing time! I definitely recommend it if you’re looking to have a great night!

Absolutely horrible. Staff consistently had a bad attitude. The person who checked IDs was extremely rude, not to mention unfriendly. Never come here

Great show when I went last weekend. I did get dropped off with friends so it was easier to not park. They do charge $20 to anyone who isn't 21 or older. My phone was NOT stolen, I would advise you to watch your stuff as you do with any club you go to, but that's normal. I gave four stars just because the loud speakers did hurt my ears a little. It was a very accepting place and open to anyone.

Really loved this club and thought it was a safe space for my bisexual self, but had my night ruined by thieves and inattentive staff. Phone was stolen right off of me and (apparently) made its way to Miami. Staff wasn’t helpful, and I understand that not much can be done once it’s already happened. HOWEVER. With how many people get their phones stolen and people theorizing the club is in on it I would think Southern Nights would make greater efforts of prevention. I haven’t been back since and it was a big loss for me at the time being an independent student just trying to get by. Also, unrelated, but I had a Long Island Iced Tea and two Vodka Crans and didn’t even get effed up. Weak sauce.

Had a blast! First time here and I love the two sides. It is a bit tight on the door side and sometimes unbearable however, take a breather on the other side and jump back into the dance floor later. Amazing bartenders and drinks, great drag shows, great go go dancers. Overall 9.5 out of 10!
