Someplace Else Nightclub

When I didn't have anywhere else to go to celebrate my birthday I thought about Someplace Else and I'm glad I did. Because I went 15 minutes before my birthday would have been over. I got treated like family I felt loved and respected. Best birthday EVER. And I will always go back there every chance I get Thank you everybody this is Elisa I love you all

I had a great time tonight with my older sister! The show was amazing and made my 21st birthday unforgettable. I can't wait to come back again! ️‍

It's a nice place for the LGBTQ+ community. Where you can watch drag queens shows and have a lot of fun. I just wish the owners would invest a little more in the place bc to my knowledge it's the only gay bar in the city. We have many LGBTQ+ friendly places but that's the only gay bar I know in Evansville and honestly could have some remodeling and/or renewal. I've been going on and off that place for a while passed from generation to generation but never renewed. I think that's why is slowly dying out.

What an amazing place!!! We had a fun and great time at Someplace else nightclub. The sense of community and joy is felt from the moment you walk in the door. They have a second floor where you can see the show. The night we went they were celebrating a birthday of one of the performers, and the atmosphere was incredible. I came to visit Evansville for a few days, and I can say the best night there was when we went to this nightclub. It felt like the kind of place where everybody knows your name and are happy to welcome anyone!

Me and my wife love coming here! The drag shows are THE BEST and we wish nothing but the best for each and everyone that performs on that stage. Drag is an absolute art form and needs to be shared with the world. The drinks are amazing. Give us a sex on the beach or a freaky tiki any day! Everybody from the guy at the door to the owners are friendly and make us feel relaxed and ready to have a great time. I highly suggest this place.

I attended the Drag Show on New Years Eve and was extremely disappointed in the act using the fake gun and pointing it at members of our community that was sitting in the audience. With the events around the country (Pulse, Colorado Springs, etc) I felt that it was a very poor choice and very disturbing that something like that would be allowed. I was absolutely disgusted with the performers choice to use a gun pointing it at peoples heads as a prop. I would like to believe that the owner didn’t know that this would take place and therefore is the reason it happened. If the owner was aware and still allowed it, shame on them and I will not go back. Up until this event took place, I have enjoyed the times that I have visited.

Love this club. I was new to the area 1yr ago and this place makes me feel like home. The queens are amazing people and so creative with their performances. I just wish the upstairs could get remodeled to meet the demand of the amount of people that want to enjoy the shows.
