XO Nightclub & Hookah Lounge

Love the decor but I think the prices are exorbitant! $20 for a drink pouch!? Have the bartender curate some drinks for you! Make it inspired! You all have a beautiful space but aren't utilizing it well. The tables in the middle of the floor are a bit awkward. Maybe arrange them concentrically for dancing and such? Think about the customer experience and not just the profit for the day! Wishing you all success!

Firstly, venue was well laid out, from the setup to the decor and also spacious to accommodate the good sized crowd that was there. The only thing that ruined (yes, ruined) the experience was the service, namely the bartending. Bartenders showed an inability to multitask and take orders for drinks, even when the bar wasn't very busy--maybe 6-7 people actually looking to order a drink. Other people including myself would kindly remark as they passed by that we had not been served or even acknowledged. Many walked away after waiting literally 15-20 minutes for a single drink order to be heard or taken. I myself waited about 10-15 minutes every time I went to order a drink, which became annoying quickly. It made me wonder if those same bartenders would even be adequate for a slow night. Hoping management sees this and understands there is no malice in my review, but I felt compelled to share my experience because I am a firm believer that ATX does* need diverse spaces, and XO Nightclub is a great venue in a ducked off location. As a future patron, it would be great to have more serious, competent, and urgent bartenders. God bless yall

The aesthetics were very beautiful, and the atmosphere was very classy. I would go back. I went on a Thursday night.

We went to XO for opening night. The sections are big, decorated with large paintings and sexy accents. Service from our waitress was quick & great! The bottle menu was so cute too - it lights up in the dark! We had so much fun!

Immaculate space,great vibes and cool people. Considering Austin don’t have many black nightclubs, XO is the bar. It’s huge on the inside, so even on a good night you still very comfortable. Good is good, typical bar food! Security is nice. Overall the best, they host game nights, and etc!

My friend and I attended the poetry event on July1st. It was due to start at 7:00 but started a little late. I’ve attended several of the EncoreATX poetry events and this was the first one to be empty. There were about 5 tables full and the rest of the club was empty, kinda understandable as it was the 4th of July weekend. We ordered a hookah with several drinks and stayed after the poetry was over. The waitress was nice when she did come to check on us but most of the time we called the manager and he was prompt to attend to our requests. The drinks were good for the price and not watered and the DJ Yella (I think) was really good kept the energy up and it started to become somewhat full but it was a younger crowd than I prefer. The club is good for day events but for club scene I’ll stick to Dallas.

Got charged $44 for 2 SMALL casamigos shots. We were charged $10 to get in, but after talking to other people there, they were not charged. The bartender didn’t even know how to make a s*x on the beach. The DJ was great & it’s a cute spot, but this place could definitely be better and I’m disappointed overall.

Music is XO a vibe. Restroom needed to be cleaned & drink prices were . I paid $22 for a can of sprite and a 4 oz Hennessy & sprite. Good to know I stayed tipping the tip jars $10 plus depending on what I spent
