MainGate Nightclub

This place is an incredible venue for *LIVE* concerts! The sound was phenomenal, there was plenty of space for manueveing around a bit, lots of available seating, there are several bars (with friendly bar tenders) available for drinking... The only issue for me was finding the entrance *(additionally, it can be a bit warm so stay hydrated)* All-in-all, your experience is sure to be invigorating & refreshing!

Great venue to see a band. Turning the Tide band was absolutely fantastic! Drinks not too expensive. Special thanks to the Tom Taylor, the promoter. Easy to get to and plenty of free parking. Several eateries near by.

Bartender seemed angry because she was on her phone and I asked for a drink. WAY WAY OVERPOUR. Six count of CAPTAIN splash ginger then CAPTAIN on top. Asked for side of ice. Could not finish the drink and tossed it. Apparently she was not RAMP certified nor a trained Bartender

Cons: Let’s start off with us buying tickets online days prior for a reservation ( i guess for a table) … to then be told that those tickets were invalid and we had to pay at the door. DOUBLE THE PRICE. And to call another day for a refund… Let’s end with the DJ playing music off his laptop and the music constantly stopping when he received a message. (The literal message tone) AND the music just completely stopping to the point we thought it was a part of his act… it was not. Extra: 15 minutes before 2am… When they close, a fight broke out. Not their fault. Just inconvenient. Pros: At least the musical guest ACTUALLY showed up. At 1 am. Oh, And the drinks were reasonably priced.

My first time at main gate was summer 2018 when 16 and older were allowed as long as there was no school the next day. Happy and glad to see you are still open. Memories!!

Went to the Halloween event and it was a blast!! My friend and I used to go here every Saturday night back in the day and always had a great time. The security was pretty intense being that they searched you before you could even pay to get in. That was a welcomed thing as I felt much safer knowing that everyone went through that before entering. Wish they were still open every Saturday with DJ for dancing!

The concerts get packed and your closest than you could ever be to a famous singer. Ticket prices are not bad. Love the VIP treatment.

Went to see Wayne Wonder last night...the dj's they had last night had me so frustrated...they were all over the place with the music and didn't know how to blend...you can't go from 1994 then jump to 2004 then go back...if it wasn't for Wayne Wonder I would've left and found somewhere else to go...guess I'll continue to go to NYC and Philly for a reggae party.
