My wife and I are somewhat new to the LS, and this was our first club experience. The staff were great and very friendly. The atmosphere was amazing as well as the people. We never felt pressured. Just a lot of fun. We will visit again when go back to New Orleans.

Colette's New Orleans offers a unique experience, but it's definitely not for everyone. Pros: * BYOB: The bring-your-own-beverage policy is a great way to save money and enjoy your favorite drinks. * Awesome Location: The historic New Orleans building adds a cool vibe, although some dampness issues should be addressed. * Huge Space: The downstairs area is massive with plenty of rooms to explore, including a theater and playrooms. * Concept: The overall concept is interesting and different from other clubs. Cons: * Odor: The building's age contributes to a musty smell, which can be off-putting. * Bathrooms: The limited number of small yucky bathrooms * Not Comparable: If you're expecting a high-end experience like similar clubs in other cities, you might be disappointed. Overall: Colette's New Orleans is worth checking out for its unique atmosphere and BYOB policy. However, be aware of the cost, odor, bathroom situation, and manage your expectations compared to other clubs. It's a great place to explore and have a different experience, but it may not be everyone's cup of tea.

Never made it inside. I was told I would have to pay$130 but it didn't matter because I had on short pants. Then I watched the bouncer let in a couple wearing short shorts. I will take my $ elsewhere.

I haven't had great experiences here after a few visits. I am part of a couple and I quite simply feared for the safety of my partner and def any single ladies who may attend in the future. I have gone to both Newbie night and Haven. Besides being just simply superrrrr dead, both events had single guys walking back and forth throughout the rooms, lurking, pulling on occupied room's doors to go in without permission. The same guys were making the same comments after being rejected my partner numerous times, but choosing to "try again" and just simply making the couples feel uncomfortable. It was the most predatory behavior i have ever seen and I have been to these types of parties and clubs throughout the years. I understand what kind of club we were in and sometimes things occur that require an open mind and simly saying "no". I feel though that this went in a much more dangerous direction. They'd put their faces up to the curtain rooms essentially entering the room without permission, knock on the doors of the private rooms, and I even have one try to force the door open when I closed the door to the private room. One followed us around the whole night literally no matter what room we went into. I'd turn my head and he was there. I'm also pretty sure he is the one who tried to force the door open since he was there again after opening it later. My partner asked that I not go anywhere at one point bc of this. I didn't really see anyone actually monitoring anything so I actually feel that assault would have occurred pretty easily. If I asked I would not recommend it and especially to a female. At best she better bring someone or pepperspray.

Staff was welcoming, but the venue is filthy, tacky, uncomfortable, ratty, and dated. Do not the cat.
