I contacted Philadelphia Massage Studio to purchase a gift certificate for a dear friend of mine based on a number of glowing reviews. Unfortunately, the owner was extremely unprofessional. He texted and asked to meet up with me to complete the credit card transaction (weird, but okay), and said he would call to let me know when. He never called. When he followed up via text days later, I politely let him know I had gone in a different direction with the gift, but would contact him for a massage next time I was in town. He said, "I'm glad you found what you were looking for. I'll PASS on future massages." As a customer, there's nothing more frustrating than going out on a limb for a small business and ending up in a petty interaction that feels like a situationship with a frat boy.

You will not find a more thorough, empathetic, or talented massage therapist than Bill, owner of Philadelphia Massage Studio. I have suffered from chronic pain on the right side of my body for a year and a half. After unsuccessful physical therapy & chiropractic treatments, I was finally able to find relief after a long session with Bill. Bill's style is extremely unique. Unlike other massage therapists, once he identifies an uncomfortable trigger point, he will not stop until he traces the pain back to its root and provides relief. Before visiting Bill, I could not sit in a chair longer than 15 minutes without the right side of my body going partially numb. As of today, I am pain free and can only thank Bill for the service he provided. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again. 8/19/17.

I have had many massages in my day, but I subscribed to a groupon for Philadelphia Massage Studio, and gave it a try. I have never felt better. I had neck pain and always had a headache. I now get a massage from Bill every 3 weeks to 4 weeks, and I will continue to do so. I FEEL Great. He has a nice, clean studio, but most of all he KNOWS what he is doing. None of this feather touch, as I call it, but a deep tissue massage for the price of a Swedish massage. Great job, Bill, keep it up. See you soon.

I've only gone to see Bill a handful of times when my shoulder starts flaring up - my shoulder is always making cracking noises and the aching extends to my left pec and right shoulder blade because of it. I'm always so grateful I can quickly book an appointment because usually by the time I do, the pain is really uncomfortable and Bill does an amazing job at loosening my shoulder up, so much so that I probably don't go to him as much as I should because the sessions give me substantial relief. I'm going to try my best to come more often so we can, at some point, move beyond just working on my left shoulder for the entire time haha. Thanks Bill!

Okay, let's cut right to the chase: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT HERE as soon as possible and go, especially if you're in pain [but hopefully before it gets to that point!] Billy was the therapist who did the massage when I made my first appointment. I was referred to Billy originally by my boss. What a lifesaver! He really knows what he's doing, is passionate about his profession and really cares about his patients. He listens well, isn't arrogant, is down-to-earth, funny and a nice guy. And his technique doesn't hurt. I repeat, it doesn't hurt. And, in the way of overall body I swear, I could tell a difference in my mental functioning while the massage was going on. Billy understands all of the ins and outs and can explain or answer any questions you have about your issues. Go here and your life will be changed for the better!!

Incredible therapist. I have been in pain for weeks and tried many other massages and therapies and William is the only one who relieved me of my pain. Very very grateful to him. Great listener, instilled trust he could tackle my problems, and he followed through. Many thanks William!!

This was my first time getting a massage. I was really nervous and I honestly didn't what to expect. But once I actually met with bill (my masseur), I was put at ease. He was very welcoming and friendly, before the massage started, he explained what was going to happen. I was comfortable the whole time (something I didn't expect for my first massage), The massage was great! I don't remember the whole massage, because I fell asleep, but I do remember I felt great afterwards. All the tension and stiffness had gone. I'll most diffidently will be coming back again, it's affordable enough for me to get massages on a regular.
