Boulder Therapeutics: Sports Massage & Acupuncture

Dr. Chappy was great! We spoke in depth about the issues I was having with my shoulder. I left with a few simple exercises to do on my own and a plan to go back in a few weeks for another round of needling.

Dr Chris has been absolutely fantastic to work with. As someone who enjoys fitness both inside and outside I need someone to help me with the aches and pains. I got in a car accident in December 2023 and received an acupuncture service in February 2024 to help with my back pain. They said they’d work with my insurance directly and that it’d cost slightly more than if I paid out of pocket but I didn’t want to have to deal with it and said ok. I just received an explanation of services that my insurance paid to Boulder Therapeutics for 1 60-minute acupuncture service and it was $485!!!! I know I’m not paying that out of pocket but that’s still money out of my available funds to help pay for my medical bills/treatments after the car accident. A regular 60-minute acupuncture is $125. This place just leached off my situation and tried to squeeze as much out of my insurance as they possibly could. Not to mention the acupuncturist was on his phone for a lot of the session and very unprofessional. I went three more times for massages because the acupuncture was too painful for my back and didn’t help. The massages were great, they provided a lot of relief and were not charged to my insurance at an astronomical rate. Really not happy though!

I have been using Boulder Therapeutics for the last few years, both for injury prevention & injury rehabilitation. All the providers I have seen during my time have been excellent in their knowledge, treatment & personal interactions. My recent treatment from Chris for severe hip pain had my range of motion noticeably improve within 24 hours & pain diminish. Truly incredible when OTC pain killers had barely helped at all for 3 days. I am going to recommit to using boulder therapeutics regularly so I can correct imbalances & continue to enjoy an active lifestyle! Thank you for your care.

Page is a skillful massage therapist. He listened to my concerns relating to a lower back injury. He helped alleviate the pain I felt in my back. Page demonstrated 3 stretching exercises to help me have increased mobility and less pressure on my lower back and hips. He is just wonderful!

Took the power vinyasa yoga class with Tami and it was fantastic - followed by a 90 min sport massage with Page that left me feeling like I'd been factory reset. Best of both yoga and massage that I've experienced in the Broomfield area. 10/10.
