Essential Kneads

I’ve been a client of Essential Kneads for about 15, 16 years. Every time I go for a massage it’s always a great experience. Normally I get tandem massage from Christin O’Leary and Mayra LeBeau. They are the best massage therapists I’ve ever had. My last appointment I tried for the first time a 6 hand massage with Christin, Mayra, and new person Alicia Johnson. Like Christin and Mayra she is also a very skilled Therapist. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for Massage Therapy. Essential Kneads is NUMBER 1 in my book and always will be

I was kayaking in providence and pulled a muscle in my left shoulder and neck area. I was referred by a friend that I should visit a massage therapist to loosen up the knot. I met Christin at Essential Kneads and she was wonderful and carefully worked thoroughly on my back and neck and I came out of the room feeling like a new person. I could move my neck in all directions. It was a fantastic experience I ever had. I highly recommend visiting this place!

I had a 90 minute massage with Mayra and it was amazing. .She knew exactly what she was doing. Pinpointed exactly what my body needed and gave me the full experience of a relaxation. Definitely 10/10.

Mayra had an opening on 4th of July so I booked it on the night of July 3rd!! Not many places have next day availability. Not only the availbility and service but the price was super reasonable and unbeatable compared to other places.The relaxation massage was much needed and Mayra exceeded my expectations! This was my first time trying out this place and I am for sure going back to Mayra! Additionally, hot stones are complimentary if you choose when booking!!!

Christin! She is amazing and you must go to her. I have tried several different places over the years and while each therapist has their own special talent, Christin is who and what I have been searching for all these years. I am a 38 year old female, active, work long hours as an RN, history of back issues. In a massage I seek out a more aggressive approach, pushing me to discomfort in order to fix issues long term. I’ve done trigger point with Christin a few times now and I believe she is saving my life. She is strong and powerful both physically and mentally. She is a gifted healer. I went and got a massage from Christin. She did and excellent job massaging me. I needed someone with strong hands and could apply heavy pressure. I wasn’t looking for this to be relaxing but wanted to really dig into some triggers. She was personable and polite and showed genuine care for me as a person. I would definitely see her again. My only critique would be to have a better smell in the parlor. The first thing I noticed was the pungent smell of old wax when I walked in. Perhaps that came from the paraffin they use. Either way it was a great experience.

I have been seeing Christin pretty much monthly for over three years now. That should speak for itself. She is compassionate, empathetic, professional, and intuitive with her massage style. She is also cool to talk to. Last week, though, I had a massage from one of her new massage therapists. While Veronica appears tiny and shy, she has surprisingly strong hands and even stronger forearms. The pressure was just right, yet she would periodically ask for feedback on how she was doing. I was very impressed and pleased with my 90-minute massage and look forward to seeing Veronica or Christin again real soon. If you want a change from the corporate, robotic massage places, you should see them soon too.
