Denton Bodywork - Angie Stephens

Angie is either the best massage therapist in Denton or one of the best. She tailors her massage to the medical issues I've had with my back, and she's done a great deal for me to relieve pain and work out tension, both of which increase my quality of life beyond the massage itself. I've tried a number of therapists and have found her to be one of the most skilled out there. Her studio is also very inviting and relaxing in its atmosphere, and invites a mental break from outside worries that enhances the experience.

I’ve been in multiple car accidents and have some flare ups every once and awhile. A couple days after my appointment I feel much better. Angie truly helps!

Both Angie and Laurel are absolute goddesses. They are amazing at their craft, very thorough with their massages. I don’t get massages as often as I would like to, and I usually wait to go in until I am in so much pain. Every time I leave feeling like a whole new person. My most recent experience, I woke up with either a pinched nerve or crick in my neck and tried to baby it for a few days and shake it off. I couldn’t move my head up/down/side to side. I couldn’t lift my shoulder or move my arm. My upper body is SO significant to my work so it was a huge issue for me. My pain was easy a 6-7. Laurel spent maybe 20-25mins getting my neck into a neutral position before beginning the massage. She was so careful and gentle. I could actually move again after the massage. She took her time. I felt very comfortable and cared for. I left feeling maybe a 2 on the pain scale and I recovered within a day or two after the massage. I recommend both Angie and Laurel to all of my coworkers and any clients who ask.❤️

Angie is incredible! She is an excellent listener and really has a unique gift for finding and working out every knot and bit of tension. I felt like I had completely new shoulders after my visit. If you are looking for a real deal deep tissue massage- go see angie- though i’m sure she’s just as wonderful for more gentle massages if that’s what you are looking for. I love how she offers targeted massages and really focuses on your problem areas. I usually find myself mentally back seat driving during a massage wishing they would do it a bit differently, but not this time- she found all the tense areas. Best massage in denton and probably anywhere.

Angie is the best massage therapist I've encountered in a very long time. Her personality is naturally calming and warm. I believe her technique to be rather gentle, but still deep and effective. Her talent is with shoulders and neck. I came to her initially when I herniated a disk, and her treatment helped me heal faster than going to a chiropractor. Obviously you should always seek medical attention for such things, but supplement with PE and massage. I also believe she puts more effort and time than you pay for, so I strongly suggest you tip her extremely well.

I have known and gotten massages from Angie for over 22 years now. She is an extremely knowledgeable and caring therapist.
