I don't normally write reviews, but I've been getting massages from Katherine for over 5 years & it's about time I let people know how awesome she is! I have had numerous problems in my neck & shoulders (slipped disks, arthritis, bone spurs, rotator cuff issues, etc.) for years, and have been through every kind of treatment/therapy you can name. Massages for me are not for relaxation - they are necessary therapy. From the first time I saw Katherine she took the time to listen to my issues and address them thoroughly using awesome special neck massage techniques that no one had ever tried on me before. For 3 years I saw her regularly at least every 2 weeks; more frequently when I could manage it. I honestly believe if it weren't for Katherine I would not have been able to continue working my desk/computer job because of the strain & pain it caused in my neck. Katherine has frequently given me advice on home remedies & techniques to try to help me stay as pain-free as possible in between visits. Now that I'm not working my visits are less frequent but I will never stop getting massages from Katherine. If you are suffering from any kind of muscle strain, back pain, etc., you need to visit Katherine at Therapeutic Arts. She is patient, she listens, and she knows exactly how to provide the right level of pressure to be the most effective. I have referred several friends & family members to Katherine and they have also been highly satisfied. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I wouldn’t go to this place unless you want people illegally touching on you. The massage was not a quality massage. I honestly think the employees were still learning and they use the square device to swipe your card on their phone which saves your card for next time which caused my bank to issue me a new debit card just in case. The energy was just weird. It wasn’t a relaxing environment it was just a walk-in clinic with different rooms that have massage beds in them. It’s not the worst place, but there was no nothing there just me and the guy doing my massage in a big building behind a busy main road. There was a lot of foot traffic and didn’t seem as if the place got business constantly but I don’t know it’s just the vibe. But I would look up other places before trying this place. It just seemed like a bunch of different massage artists working on their own time in and out or whatever.

I wanted to start this review by saying that I am getting back to taking some time for myself and working on self-care again. I have been to a couple of other masseurs, and they have been great massages, but my experience with Keegan Langan was by far the best. Not only was he attentive to providing a deep tissue massage with the right amount of pressure, but I was more relaxed with this massage than in previous, that I fell asleep twice. As an ICU nurse and a graduate student, I find that I hold a lot of stress in my back and have had these knots that just won't go away until Keegan took a crack at them. Not only was he focused on providing an assessment but coming up with a schedule to have subsequent massages to continue to work on my problem areas. I highly recommend his expertise.

I've been seeing Katherine for quite a while now for a 90 minute deep tissue massage weekly and she is amazing! I have chronic muscle and lower back pain and she is able to help me alleviate it without any additional medication needed. Before I started seeing her I was in constant, terrible pain. Now my weekly massage keeps everything in line and my pain has diminished dramatically and sometimes disappears completely. I'll be a client for life!

A great massage. Katherine interviews you to determine if a specific area needs work, then uses her trained digits to help the muscle or tendon issue. Although far from my home, I don't go elsewhere for a 'spa' massage that simply moisturizes and soothes, I go here for a massage that improves my weary body.

I have been getting massages from Keegan Langan for about 3 years. I'm a VERY frequent flyer, and Keegan is a fantastic therapist! The office is in a lovely, peaceful location which really enhances the overall relaxing vibe!! HIGHLY recommend!

Bess is wonderful! The most educated and highly trained therapeutic masseuse I have ever experienced. I have bilateral peripheral neuropathy and she is the ONLY person that has ever been able to help me control my pain and get me on the path to wellness. I only hope that she will be able to stay here FOREVER! Thank you, Bess and Therapeutic Arts for helping me control my pain and getting me on the path to wellness. You are better than ANY pain management doctor there is in this area.

Bess Wood & Therapeutic Arts provide a great THERAPEUTIC massage, based on myofascial science. If you've only had 'spa-type' massages in the past (where moisturising cream is gently rubbed in, but no real muscle release work is done), and are looking for a massage that specifically works out your knots and kinks, give Ms Wood a try. Worth travelling to and waiting for!
