I have been seeing Courtney monthly for the past year and let me tell you, it’s my favorite day of the month. Courtney is very intuitive and reassuring when she works on your body. I suffer from severe chronic pain from an injury and the days after I see her I am almost entirely pain free. I absolutely love the work she does, she is so sincere and genuine when it comes to caring about her clients well being. Her empathy is unmatched and her skill is out of this world. I trust her completely and highly recommend her to anyone who has chronic pain, or even just needs a little pick me up. It is the closest thing to magic I’ve ever experienced.

I wish I could give them more than five stars! Courtney is a magician that has relieved so much of my pain and tension for many years. Highly recommend for any sort of chronic pain, injuries, etc. They are much more educated than any other massage services I have found in RI. Destiny is also a wonderful practitioner that helps fill in for Courtney. All of the modalities are included such as cupping, hot stones, super strong CBD cream that is my go-to for daily pain. Book your appointments as soon as possible as they fill up very fast, but it's 1000% worth the wait! Thank you Courtney for always saving my life and even helping me avoid surgery!

I had been experiencing severe jaw pain for six months with no relief. The pain came on the heels of having some dental work done, and while waiting for that to heal, I opened wide for a big yawn and felt a sharp pain under my ear on the jaw-hinge. Since that incident, the jaw pain only worsened. It was localized to one side and one area - the same area I felt the sharp pain while yawning. I tried ice/heat, NSAIDs, jaw exercises, etc. and nothing seemed to help. I was having difficulty chewing and biting down on food and was not eating normally. I had a constant, dull pain in my jaw all day. I went to the dentist who said there was nothing wrong and suggested I may be clenching my jaw at night. I went to great lengths to make sure this wasn't what was happening, and it wasn't. The dentist suggested I see a chiropractor and I wasn't up for that. Out of desperation, I decided to see if massage might help. I had read some things about TMJ massages and thought that it certainly couldn't hurt. I found Destiny at RI Medical Massage through a simple Google search and saw that she specifically did TMJ massages. I decided to give it a whirl. I was with Destiny for an hour. She mostly worked on my face and jaw area. At one point, she put one hand inside my mouth and one hand on the outside of my face. She massaged both inside and out simultaneously. She pushed on one specific area and I immediately felt a type of release with immediate relief. She warned me that I may be tender/sore for a few days. This was on a Thursday. I was sore the following day, but by Sunday, I was eating pizza for the first time in six months with ZERO pain! I was completely astonished. I would say that just the one session with Destiny relieved 95% of the issue I was having. I can now eat and chew normally with no restrictions. I still have a bit of tightness when I open very wide, but I plan on another session or two and believe that'll be the end of it. I am writing this review because I truly believed that whatever was wrong with my jaw was going to be something major. I thought I tore something, sprained something, and I was sure it was going to require serious medical treatment based on my symptoms. Both my dentist and PCP tried putting me on steroids and muscle relaxers and after seeing Destiny, I didn't even fill the prescriptions. If you are experiencing jaw pain without a lot of answers, you have to make an appointment with Destiny. It's worth a shot. I was amazed at what it did for me and I can't say enough about this company and its staff. THANK YOU!

Courtney is a GEM! When I first discovered her, I was exhausted after trying chiropractors, physical therapists, spine specialists, acupuncturists, and more without any improvements to my chronic pain. All of the specialists I had seen only treated the pain I was experiencing for a short time, but not the problem itself. After going to several different massage therapists, I found Courtney and I will never go anywhere else again! Courtney's knowledge of human anatomy and body mechanics is extensive. I recommend Courtney to everyone that I know. Even though massage therapy is more of a necessity for me than a luxury, Courtney's new space is absolutely beautiful and I always feel instantly relaxed as soon as I walk into the room.
