I had an incredible massage with Diane. She made me feel comfortable and was helpful in answering questions about sensations in my body. The facility is clean and not wildly perfumed like some other spots, instead they have air purifiers throughout and the products are fairly mildly fragranced. This makes it so much more accessible for folks with sensitivities and allergies. 10/10 will be returning soon - they offer a partner massage tutorial that I can’t wait to try!

Booked a massage for my wife, she worked w Leah and she loved the experience - reduced tension in the body immediately, great massage. I asked my wife about the environment, as there were some reviews knocking the location. My wife said ambiance was basic / minimal but did not interfere with enjoying the massage.

Best massage I’ve ever had - Diane seriously has magic hands, and knew where needed more pressure and where less. Will definitely be returning - thank you!

Jill is wonderful! It was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I have chronic pain in my hip and lower back due to an injury. I walked out of the message feeling like a new person. I can’t wait to go back! My only piece of feedback is the outside noise Absolutely recommend Melt!

They require masks on for the entire service, still in 2024. My massage therapist was admittedly excellent and I’d love to return but this is the literal only establishment of any kind in nyc that I know of that requires masks still. It makes the experience unpleasant. Sadly won’t be back unless they update their policies.

I had an incredible massage experience! The therapist took the time to understand my concerns, skillfully worked into my muscles, and left me feeling remarkably light and tension-free. Huge shoutout to Diane for her exceptional service!

I was gifted with a massage by a loved one, and that is how I discovered Melt. i’d like to start by saying that my massage was really relaxing and helpful. Krystal did a good job. The location is also great as it is located near several train lines. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the condition of the studio. For starters, it is basement level and extremely drafty. While sitting in the waiting corridor (and it is indeed in the corridor). I noticed that the walls while painted a nice shade of gray, were greasy and stained looking. Personally, it made me wonder what the rest of the establishment would look like once I got into the room. It gave me the ick. Sure enough, once I got into the room it was super cold. And it indeed smelled like a basement. The sheets used on the bed also smelled like hospital sheets that are newly washed. Clean but…over dried, fried, over used and not soft to the skin. I think if they did a makeover of the place and insulated it better it could be great. Overall, the body work was great but the place didn’t make me feel relaxed. It felt a bit institutional. However, if you are a person who doesn’t care much about things like that, this is a good place to get a decent massage. Again, thank you Krystal for the work you did to improve my body pains.
