Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I had a great facial with Amanda and would highly recommend her to anyone. She is very adaptable and professional. She made sure I was comfortable with the amount of pressure she applied, tools, and the result was incredible, just what I was hoping for and more. I chose the clarifying classic facial, and my skin is noticeably clearer than before I saw Amanda. She left me with very personalized skin care tips as well, and I appreciate her so much!

I would advise caution before booking. Looks like I’m not the only one who experienced this. I went with my husband 2 months ago and it was fine. I’ve found better chains like elements but they are too far. This place was still nice! I planned to start regularly going, and wanted to buy a package as I have chronic back/neck issues, they seemed flexible, and are close. He booked an appointment for me online as a surprise but the day of the appointment I was feeling unwell. I called to let them know I could still come, but wanted to be respectful of the masseuse as I wasn’t sure yet if it was contagious. The girl on the phone was nice but the woman she was asking questions in the background was not (they thought I couldn’t hear I guess). They ended up telling me I was NOT ALLOWED to come in, and they would be charging a cancellation fee (undisclosed amount). I realize the masseuse likely misses an opportunity for income when people cancel and I’d gladly pay their 20% tip, but the fee was $60?? I had originally called to inform them or reschedule. We both won’t be going back now.

I arrived after a 30 minute drive to find out my selected masseuse had to leave early. Although disappointed, I still wanted to get a massage given my back pain and chose Georges. He is incredible! I normally never go with a male masseuse but he was able to provide the medium to heavy firmness in the massage that I needed (not deep tissue which is a different style and he also does). You can tell immediately Georges is very experienced. He has a calm and positive energy and his occasional conversation is entertaining. The new front desk receptionist was very polite and diligent in resolving my initial issue. I can't wait to come back to this location.

I am member of Hand and Stone Massage. I go to this Hillsborough location once a month, because the person’s name George who is my masseurs can do a magic. Today October 3rd, 11:05 am I got a phone call telling me that I did not show up for my message. I told the receptionist that, my appointment is not today, it is next week Thursday, and it is in my calendar. When I made the appointment, it was very clear that it is October 10th. The receptionist who refused to give me her name keep on saying to me that in future if something like this happens, I must pay a fee. I told her if Hand and Stone makes a mistake why the customer will ever have to pay any fee. But this no brainer was kept on repeating the same thing very rudely and hung up the phone on me. I pay $85 each month for not getting this kind of behavior! This location should learn customer courtesy. Hoping the owner of this location will do something about this kind of misbehavior of the receptionist.

Amanda provides the best facial. My skin looks amazing when she is done. Plus she is the sweetest person. Highly recommend her.

This is my second time worst experience with masseuse Rajul. My first time with her was really bad because she continuously talks while massaging which is not relaxing at all, also she keeps bugging so that I buy their products. Yesterday when I went for massage and I realized that instead with Amanda I booked with Rajul, I signed at the receptionist that I want a quiet massage session but as usual Rajul started talking and talking and she keeps on bugging about unnecessary stuffs. Also instead of doing 50 mins massage she will only do 20 mins and the rest she will try to advertise about the products. I no longer wish to the Hillsborough branch, will try other Hand and Stone branches as I am a member there.

David was amazing as my massage therapist! He was professional, thorough and managed a perfect pressure for my liking. I will definitely be returning.
