This is my new favorite space for massage. Great location off Rosa Parks near Folk restaurant (another great establishment) The staff is exemplary.! Super cute and clean! My massage with Sydney was THE best!! I was a therapist for years and am always looking for an intuitive with a firm touch, Sydney delivered! You will not regret trying this place out

My husband and I came here tonight for 90 min deep tissues with Jude and Frankie and both had a phenomenal experience. We both have some back issues at baseline and had trouble forming words for like an hour after the massage because we were both just melted sticks of butter by the end of it we will absolutely be back again and SOON - highly recommend!! Thank you both so much!!

I had my first professional massage from Sydney , and I still can’t believe how it good it was . I left there feeling better than I can possibly describe . I want her to massage me for the rest my of life , and I will do whatever it takes to make sure that happens. I don’t have anything else to compare it to , cause I’ve only ever had a massage from Sydney, but I highly recommend that everyone comes and gets a massage here, cause if it’s half as good as Sydney’s , you’re going to feel soooooooooo good . I can’t stress enough to everyone the power of a good massage . If it’s in your budget and you have the time , doing anything else would be foolish !

Absolutely love this place! I've gone for saunas, massages, and even just to pick up stuff from their well-curated shop. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the prices are reasonable, and booking appointments is super easy to do on their website.

Come here for cupping during a massage (they call it “Get Deep, Elevated”— cupping changed my life. Overall a wonderful, beautiful space run by great, professional people. It’s also worth the visit just to take a shower, best shower in town.

Sydney just gave me easily the best massage I’ve ever had. Such a calm vibe in this place, wonderful staff, outstanding body work. Highly recommend!!!

Meta Physica is such a great little spot in Detroit for a mini spa day. A sauna/massage combo is perfect to treat yourself. They have a nice, but small, retail section as well. I like getting their Chill Pill drink after a service from the juice bar. The only thing that makes it 4 stars instead of 5 for me would be the parking situation, the size (very small, nice for a boutique feel but you wouldn't be able to have a group of more than 2-3 people to get services on one day), and only having 1 shower. But, it's a nice boutique feel and I don't think they're going for having a large spa so it makes sense! Glad we have this in the metro Detroit area.

I love the space, and the sauna experience but I wouldn’t recommend Jennie. She was very rough and even after asking me and I asked for it lighter it was still rough so I just kept quiet. She also took a really long time to come into the room and didn’t explain why, and didn’t go even a few minutes past to make up for it. There were also several times where she wasn’t touching me, and didn’t say what she was doing, so I’m not sure what was going on but I didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth since there was gaps in time with no explanation. Her energy was not relaxing at all; I’m not sure if it was just a bad day but my body didn’t feel good after unfortunately.
