My daughter and I loved Dixie’s sound bath session! We sat in comfy reclining seats while Dixie performed a soothing combination of sound bowls along with chimes for a peaceful and inspiring blend. Dixie maneuvered objects to create sound effects that transported me to the waves at the beach and a pretty garden of birds. Afterwards we physically felt very relaxed and mentally recharged!

I've had four massage sessions (and counting!) here, and each one has been amazing. Dixie offers a variety of therapeutic techniques to help her clients, and asks questions before and during each session to make sure she can target the right area and help get your body where it needs to go. I came initially for craniosacral massage, which is a really unique massage experience, but she's also done deep tissue, reflexology, neuromuscular, and myofascial release as needed. The craniosacral sessions so far have been extremely helpful. I have some misalignments all over my body, and I've noticed definite (and lasting) improvement in my gait and posture post-session. Overall I've been very grateful to find Dixie and consider her now a trusted part of my health/wellness/healing journey, complementing/enhancing physical and mental health therapy as well. Update July 2024: Dixie is now offering sound therapy sessions in an expanded space at her office. Sound therapy / sound baths use sound vibrations to induce relaxation and potentially healing - think about how music in a movie can help trigger emotional responses. I've found these to be immensely restorative, feeling release from chronically tense muscles (especially in my tailbone and eyes/jaw) during the session, as well as seemingly completing anxiety cycles from my body "holding on" to past stressors. The sessions are $30 for an hour.

Dixie is absolutely amazing! She really knows how to identify the areas in your body holding onto tension and pain and is incredibly skilled at thoroughly releasing even hard to access muscles/ tissue. She works with your body in the moment and moves according to how your body responds so she’s able to do a much deeper massage without it being uncomfortable. I’d been looking for someone who focuses more so on therapeutic massage (vs relaxation or typical deep tissue) for quite sometime, and I’ve finally found that in Dixie - her focus is to help your body heal. 10/10 would recommend!

I've received professional massages from well over 20 massage therapists, and those from Dixie are among the best--hands down. Dixie's skillful approch is intuitive and therapeutic: through touch she accurately discovers and adeptly attends to, and in turn, relaxes targeted and adjoining muscles of the body that need attention. If you are looking for a spa treatment where you are oiled and rubbed down, don't call Dixie. If, however, you are looking for more than temporary relief from muscle pains and tightness, the stars are aligned in your favor if you can get an appointment with Dixie. She knows what she's doing!

I’ve had many massages from Dixie, which have been incredible. I call her “the fixer”! If you have an issue in your neck, back, or wherever, she is the person to call! I have also had energy work. She is able to work on the body through cranial sacral work, and really address issues Below the surface. She could feel things and knew where I was having pain or problems, even if she was working on a different part of my body. I would have trouble believing it if it hadn’t happened to me. She has a rare gift for this kind of work. Highly highly recommend!!!

Dixie is amazing every time! She helped me through multiple injuries, and I mean really helped...more than anything else I was doing. I love that she is always learning and striving to be the best she can be. She is very intuitive and can sense what is going on with my body. I highly recommend Dixie to everyone!
