Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I had my first massage in ages. My shoulders get tight from career and hobbies. Jeff was my therapist. He did a great job focusing on my issue without neglecting the rest of my muscles. The ladies in the front were also very welcoming and friendly.

I have been a customer of hand and stone, since they were LaVida and they have consistently provided excellent massage therapists. Beyond doing a great job the owner has been unbelievably kind in preserving my massages in the system even after I went into long-term care unexpectedly with neck surgery. I appreciate that he did this when he did not have to. It says a lot about his priorities and I’d like more people to know that this is a good company run by good people.

I always receive a warm welcome from the receptionist team. Also, I have been seeing Jeff for several years and he is one of the best massage therapists ever! I would highly recommend him. I have been a member at the Shelby Township location and I haven't been disappointed once.

I think it went okay? Honestly not 100% sure. Nothing was explained during the facial process (what was being put on, why or what does it do so), got sprayed with something a couple times with no warning. She did an extraction but it was only a handful, trust me I could use more than a handful. At the end of the session I got a quick “use hyaluronic acid” and thats it. When I got home my face felt like it was pretty oily/greasy. Do I keep this on? Wash it off? Does it matter when I can wash it or when should I be able to put on makeup? Felt kind of lost and pretty disappointed. Not sure if this is how all facials go but I hope not. I’m going to try a different place next time to see the difference. Also that was the most feather light touch. No pressure point massage like in the description? Shelby Twp location with Bria

Felt super relaxed after my facial. My skin was soft and glowing. My esthetician, Bria, was amazing. She used just the right amount of pressure. I highly recommend her and LaVida.

It was my very first time getting a facial here. The customer service was amazing and so was Bria. I am 2 days out and my skin and face look and feel amazing. I am super excited to be apart of the family and I am encouraging the whole world to do the same.

I had a hydro platinum facial today. It was wonderful, and I highly recommend one. Shelly did a fantastic job. She was very personable, sweet and kind. I felt like I was friends with her. I’ll be returning for a microdermabrasion soon!
