Brian is the BEST! I have gone to a lot of therapists and he is definitely top notch. He is especially good at knowing what is bothering you without you even telling him. He also gives you stretching ideas to try between appointments.

These must be his friends posting all the 5-star reviews. First, he would not listen to me trying to tell him what I know about my own body and condition, but talked over me and shushed me repeatedly. He promised his unique technique is uniquely effective! But then he is not much of a massage therapist, telling me candidly how his hands and arms can't take the wear and tear anymore of working out knots in other people's muscles. He certainly worked out none of mine. Instead, he pulled my body this way and that, supposedly to stretch me out, although I myself do stretching much more effectively than what he did for/on me. I left with most of the terrible pain I came in to see him for, something that doesn't happen with actual massage therapists. Plus, when I asked him to go deeper on my hands, nearly crippled with the pain of tight muscles and tendons already, he yanked my thumb back and injured me. To add insult to injury, he promised to refund the fee I paid for a "deep tissue massage" I never received, and then he stiffed me. Not a good guy. Edit: He only refunded after I posted this review, and he never asked that I "amend" anything. My post is not inaccurate; his response is because he has to protect his business. I stayed after the massage while he showed me some stretches to do myself, and he was the person who bragged that his next client had been seeing him for many years. I merely interacted with her out of incredulity.

Brian is an excellent therapist, and it shows in his work. I received careful attention to the bad shoulders, arms and neck that had been plaguing me , and left feeling refreshed and totally "put back together". The space is lovely and relaxing. I will be back!
