The booking was easy and accepted right away. Toby not only has blessed hands but also has an eye for misalignments. Toby was able to quickly detect my problem areas before the massage session even started just by observing my posture. . The session was therapeutic and my target areas was addressed. I left the session feeling so much looser and lighter. I have already set my next appointment and would high recommend Toby heartfelt healing hands:)

I am surprised by the review left by Mercedi S. I have been coming to Heartfelt Hands (HH) for the past 10 years. Over the years I have recommended friends, colleagues, and even church members (both young and some “seniors”) to HH. Since I’ve always received positive feedback, I continue to recommend friends. In fact, many have become regular clients. As a therapist, Toby is meticulous about his craft. He, unlike some other therapists, is well studied in anatomy at both the muscular and skeletal levels. He asks sharp questions and uses his detailed study to attend to his client's concerns. His knowledge is important to me because I am athletic (run about 20 miles weekly, play both racquetball and basketball) and often have muscle soreness and occasional injuries. HH’s massage therapy has been both healing and kept me active. Toby has even worked in concert with my doctor’s orders for injuries. I have tried many other therapists and I’ve found that in skill, knowledge and in client attentiveness, Toby exceeds by far the therapists whom I’ve known in Nashville over the last ten years. I would not trust my injuries, muscles, or relaxation to another therapist. With respect to the previous reviewer, perhaps she did not specify Swedish massage when she asked for a “relaxation” session. For many people like me, a “deep tissue” massage is exactly the relaxation that I request.

The massage was painful and I had to ask him to back off 4 or 5 times. I also was only given a very thin sheet with no blanket so I felt cold and over exposed. I was quite uncomfortable the entire time. I booked and specified at the start that I only wanted a relaxation session but this was the most un-relaxed I have ever felt in a massage. He told me at the end he did deep tissue because didn't actually look at the books and he just assumed that is what I wanted (he said only 2% of people ever book relaxation sessions). As a former massage therapist, I can tell he knows his body mechanics, but this was not a good experience for me and I wish I had gone somewhere else.

Whew!! Did not realize how much I truly needed this massage. Toby is incredible; extremely understanding and knows just what your body needs. Have already scheduled my next appointment.

I started getting Toby’s 15 min massages when I visit the chiropractor, and then decided to book one for an hour. Toby’s attention to detail and care is why I continue to make this a monthly thing. He listens and is great at his job. If you want a great massage then Toby is the person you want to go to!

After a two year struggle with plantar fasciitis, I developed hip pain which is what lead to me making an appointment with Hayes Family Chiropractic in Bellevue. After consultation, I met with their massage therapist, Toby. Toby said he could treat the plantar fasciitis, I wasn't hopeful as I've been through the full spectrum of treatment over the last two years without success and was considering surgery. After a single visit with Toby, I walked pain free. After a three visits I went on a multi day hiking trip with no problems. It sounds rather dramatic to say a visit was 'life changing' but it really was. Toby has given me my life back, as I am able to walk pain free allowing me to do all the things I love to do. Toby is professional, informative, patient and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend Heartfelt Hands!!
