Lori is an angel and a lifesaver! Good customer service doesn't describe it. She went far above and beyond to help me. Ensuring my daughter-in-law got her birthday present on time. For my DIL's bday I wanted to get her a gift certificate for a local spa. After painstakingly researching the websites and the reviews, I found Effleurage, which looked perfect (turns out it absolutely was). I was super excited and honestly a little jealous because their signature massage looks amazing. I wanted her to get her present on her bday so I had to wait because they send it over text and/or email when you purchase. While waiting the few days for her bday, I forgot about it, until my phone reminded me at 5:30pm. Whew that was close, disaster avoided or so I thought.... I spent the next hour struggling to purchase this %#"*@÷! ever loving GC. I tried different browsers, different payment methods and I even tried hand typing each and every letter/symbol, nothing worked. Dread in my heart, sweat streaming down, the air filled with choice words, I almost gave up. As a last resort I called spa and got voicemail, which prompted another round of temper tantrums.... the likes of which had my dog run to his safe space (otherwise known as his kennel) and cower (I'm pretty sure he thought we were under attack). The urge to admit defeat and hang up was strong but somehow a moment of common sense broke through my otherwise completely lost mind and I listened to the message. Thank the world there was a glimmer of hope...I could text the number. Completely convinced this was the universe preparing one final cruel assault, I sent a very desperate but defeated text, put my phone down and went to pour myself a much needed glass of wine. A few steps and my own mind turned against me by playing my ringtone. Apparently I was going to need 2 glasses, as I was now delusional. Wait... no... it was actually ringing. Enter Lori (otherwise and forevermore to be known as my savior), the clouds parted, the air cleared and the dog stepped out... not only did she get the elusive GC, she gift bagged it and drove it to my DIL's house and hand delivered it! Thank you Lori! I can't wait to come to town and spend a day at your spa!! You're amazing!!!

I’ve been to several different spa locations and this one by far is the best. I love how warm and welcoming the environment is as soon as you walk in. The ambiance is very serene and relaxing. My fiancé and I love this location and try to come every few months. The massage therapists never disappoint. They apply the right amount of pressure and we always come out feeling relaxed. Definitely recommend

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves for our anniversary and booked a 75 minute couples massage. We chose Effleurage Spa due to location and the reviews, and we are so pleased with our experience. The atmosphere was peaceful, and everyone we interacted with was warm and inviting. We received a friendly greeting immediately upon arriving and check-in, and the atmosphere was instantly calming. Our massage therapists, Sam and Chandler, were a delight and made sure to spend a little time to introduce themselves beforehand and learn if there any specific areas we were concerned about and wanted to have worked on. They were kind and professional, and we were very relaxed the whole time. Even after the massages, they made sure to tell us any particular spots they noticed had needed some extra attention, and what we might expect now things were loosened up more. Overall, we left with the impression that everyone was genuinely invested in making sure we were satisfied with our experience. We are happy to have discovered a place so close to home that we can go to pamper ourselves, and we look forward to booking massages here in the future!

I’ve had dozens of massages in my lifetime, and since moving up here to Charles Town last August, it had been over a year since my last spa experience. I wanted to find a spa close by that would provide a fantastic service. Upon googling, I found Effleurage. First, the interior design is completely calming and welcoming. As an Interior Designer myself, I totally appreciate that effort and attention to detail. Decompressing and calming as soon as you walk in. Lori immediately made me feel at ease and comfortable. Her deep tissue massage was absolutely incredible and the reflexology portion of the massage was like nothing I’d ever experienced from a relaxation standpoint. A beautiful spa experience!! I will be a consistent returning customer. Thank you so much Lori. You are truly amazing.

Lori is phenomenal. Best massage I’ve ever had! It doesn’t feel like a one-size-fits-all service- she personalizes your massage to what you need and want! Relaxing atmosphere from the second you walk in the door.

They are a nice group of people that focus on the client, and try to provide a deeply restful spot to get a massage. Fairly priced and worth it.

My partner and I drove 3 hours to experience the Date Night package and a Deep tissue couples massage, it was heavenly! The atmosphere exceeded my expectations, all of the employees were friendly and welcoming, the massage alone was worth the drive! Chandler is amazing at what he does! Thank you for helping me feel comfortable during my first DeepTissueMassage, it was perfect and I already can’t wait to come back! My partner equally was greatly impressed with Sam. Not only did she provide a great service for the deep tissue massage she was then our date night instructor. She was extremely kind, and intelligent. 100% recommend any couple that wants to learn how to better care for each other to go through this experience and specifically request Sam as your instructor. We will return!

Lori is amazing. Made me feel relaxed and not tense in 30 minutes! Next time I will be booking for at least 90. I have yet to try the other masseuses but I’m sure if Lori hired them they are all amazing!!
